Another superb evening so relaxing and such lovely food cooked to order. This is one of my favourite haunts. Warm welcome, excellent choice of menu and they can look after dietry problems. No one is made to feel awkward and food is discussed at the table with the chef or his wife, so no confusion occurrs.

Wendy an Michela always offer you a very warm Welcome and beautifully cooked food. If you want food in a hurry, forget it this is not a fast food restaurant because everything is cooked to order and it is well worth the wait. You can enjoy Wendy's paintings, even purchase one or a copy of one of the books she has written whilst you wait. Try any of the Chicken and steak dishes the duck is great too - the Licquer Coffee especially the Sambuca one is beautiful. You will not be disappointed whether you are in a party or visiting as a couple, this is home from home for us.

Have driven past this resturant for years... never ventured in. Heard some good reports so decided to try for myself. Glad I booked in advance as it was full, clearly many regular customers. Nicely presented menu, huge range of choice. All 4 of us chose different starters and different main courses, so we sampled everything from prawns, salmon, duck, chicken and steak. Overall the food was good... so why not excellent..
Barely sat down before we had to decide what to drink, no chance to look at winelist before it was suggested we try the house wine... which actually was very good. Presentation of food on the plates a little dated, The chef did come from the kitchen and check all was good with our meals, which was a nice touch. Overall the experience was a good one and yes we would revisit.

The Scallops were sweet and juicy and the Veal Cordon Bleu was the best I've eaten in a long while. The service was attentive but not overpowering and Wendy was the star turn, as always.
