Hotel is very clean and comfortable with friendly staff. Breakfast is very good. Ideal as a halfway point on our way to Scotland. Would stay again in the future.

Must agree with the reviews regarding the reception and restaurant staff - very friendly. If you do order a paper though, you will not be able to read it in bed whilst enjoying your morning cuppa as they don't deliver it to your door. Continental breakfast was poor and definately not worth the money. The resturant staff took pity on me and did not charge for it (which was appreciated especially when I hadn't complained). Bathroom was in need of a good clean. Towell rail dusty, cracked basin and unusual smelling towells (not the freshest).
Served a purpose as we were attending a specific event and would probably stay again if required.

I have been staying here for over 16 years. The rooms are still as fresh and clean as ever. The keep On top of things, not run down. I always feel very comfortable here. To be fair had looked at the weatherspoons brocket arms, however its not a patch on this premier inn. Breakfast was better than it used to be, a good buffet selection, english breakfast made fresh and you can choose what you want. The downside is no wifi in the hotel, there is in the nearby restaurant - the mount. And the price- they advertise €29 per room excl breakfast - how come I payed € 52?

Room Tip: Try to get a room not on the motorway side, its only noisy when you open the window however.

Very nice Premier Inn. Ideal location, very easy to find. Very quiet, even being near a busy main road we didn't hear any noise from the traffic. Reception staff very helpful. The rooms were clean.

I checked in with various family members, the reception team there were helpful and patient! We had made mistakes with our booking but the reception team sorted everything out for us and promtly made extra beds up. I cannot fault the customer service by the girls. We had our tea in the Taybarns, and again service was great. The manager said it's a popular restaurant in the area, and you can see why. great value, especially as we had children with us, and a great variety of food to choose from, it was great! We will be visiting Wigan soon for another family do, and we will re-book here for the weekend, making sure we book the correct rooms!!
