“Good Value For Money”
Reviewed June 17, 2012

The room was clean and it was quiet, those are our two essentials and to top it off, the rate for the room was economical. The staff was friendly but we didn't really have too much interaction, the pub next door left something to be desired, we had the cheese burgers and if you put enough sauces on, the burger will eventually taste good. The location of the Premier Inn is ideal for exploring the area and if you can get a good rate, it is worth it.

Room Tip: We stayed in Room 23 and it was quiet and clean.

Does what it says on the tin. We wanted somewhere to sleep and this was spot on.
5 mins off the M6, side room was quiet even though the hotel is on a main road (seems not too busy at night).
Very comfy bed and great pillows. Nice and clean. We both slept well. Would definitely stay here again if we needed to break a journey.
Rated against expectations at this price level.

Booked this hotel for an overnight stay, was greeted with a warm hello and welcome. The member of staff told us about the facilities and offered to book us an evening meal at the a joining pub/restaurant to ensure we got a table as it was always busy on a Saturday night.
We also asked for the loan of an extension lead which she promptly found.
Excellent night sleep and would recommend the hotel, my only reason for not giving top marks was that all the smokers gathered by the front door at all hours and did wake me up at 5.45am, felt a smoking shed away from the main building would be more appropriate.

Room Tip: Ask for a room not facing the entrance.

The Premiere Inn is a really good one. We stayed over for a staff Christmas Party at Haydock Races. Reception staff very friendly and the pub next door is well run too. It's positioned on the busy East Lancs Road so not many places to go within walking distance. However is a great choice for an overnight on business or for the HAydock Races.

If your looking for a day out with the Lads at Haydock Park Races. Then this is the place to stay.
The Hotel is clean, good friendly staff. The Pub attached serves great food, especially breakfast with a pint. Only 15 minutes walk to the Racecourse Stands, so plenty of time to meander back after the last race. Quick bite to eat, shower, change and 10 minutes walk in to the Town of Ashton in Makerfield, set up for a full on night out till 3am. (Well the younger ones did) The locals love a party night out, so it would have been rude not to join in.

Room Tip: At the time we booked, a Twin room was the same price as booking 2 singles. So if your mate snores g...
