Thank you.

Arrived for a meal tonight at 16.45pm, after the Cinema to be turned away even though restaurant nearly empty. Explained we were only 3 and would be gone in one hour. Apparently couldn't cope as there was a football match - even though it was Wigan.

So just been to Sorrento's at Orrell Post and had an excellent meal with great sevice.

You did us and Sorrento's a favour - will not try you again. Very poor

I took my family here today after a visit to the cinema. I did not know it was there but now I have found it I will certainly go back. The food was great and very reasonable price. The staff were friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was great. I would highly recommend it. I suggest you walk straight past Frankie & Bennys (It's rubbish) and go straight to Sharpy's.

We went to Sharpy's for a Chippy Lunch having been to the Pensioners Wednesday morning Special at the nearby cinema. Despite still being advertised on the website it was no longer available but instead of £5;99 each we had to pay £15 for the 2 of us (happliy we WERE 2!) and then another 75p for a slice of bread and butter. Too expensive we think.

The place was near deserted and we cannot think it can stay open for much longer. According to the local press it only does business on match days.

This is the second time I've visited Sharpys and the first time the restaurant was virtually empty so we went on a Friday night the second time. Unfortunately it was just as empty and this made it very lacking in atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and the food was excellent and very good value for money. The restaurant itself is very contemporary and can't be faulted but sadly nothing could make up for it being so empty. Such a massive shame as otherwise it couldn't be faulted. I really hope business picks up on non-match nights as it would be a real shame if it closed.

Wigan / Huds rugby match.
Going straight from work we always go for chips & fish to eat out.
Last night we arrived in a queue of about 30 people at 6.40 it was 7.45 when we got served the staff appeared to be on a go slow not just the girls but the men cooking. No rush in them at all, if the same happens again next time, it will be our last like many more we're saying in our queue.
Mr Sharpy you really do need to get rid of your staff and employ people who really do want to work for you.
