Usually an early bird menu is designed to get people in earlier than normal by offering a reduced price for what should be a normal meal. Unfortunately in our case it was a reduced quantity as well. Short of counting the pieces of meat on the plate it was impossible to share things evenly between the 15 people on our large round table. When some additional food was requested it was clear that not a single portion would be offered. Having spent £180 + 5% service as well as a considerable bar bill this total lack of customer focus left us feeling very negative, which is a shame because the interior décor is very pleasing. As a result we will not be going back again. How much would an extra plate or 2 cut into the profit rather than upsetting 15 customer?
