Went on a wednesday about 1730. Place only had a few early diners in. Hot n sour soup very nice then the rest was quite average. Salt n pepper ribs soggy and no chilli on them. Crispy duck was dry and chewy. Main courses a bit boring and greasy. £28 for two including chinese tea seems a bit expensive. Should have gone to china town in manchester for better and cheaper food.

If fancy a good Chinese meal which will not break the bank, head to the Chinese buffet. It costs £6.99 for adults and £3.99 for kids in the week and at weekends it goes upto £11.99 for adults and around £5.99 for kids. There is loads of choice from starters to mains but on top of that it has a salad bar, and loads of desserts and fresh fruit. At the weekend it also has Chinese grill open and the chef can make up meals for you, also make you a pancake and if you like chocolate fountains there is one of them to. You truly cannot get better value, ignore any of the bad reviews I have never had a bad meal and I have been to some bad places to eat and this isn't one of them. Everything that is cooked is fresh and you can get up as many times as you like. Enjoy !

We have tried the chinese buffett 3 times now and it is great value for money. The staff are excellent and very polite. They also remember you considering we visited 3 times over about 6months i thought this was really good. Soon as your finished with a plate someone is there to clear it away. Always looks very clean and fresh food constantly put out. Enjoyed ourselves everytime.

Visited before the Wigan V Widnes game last week, it was to be fair 1530 but still no excuse.
My Becks Vier was off and had to be returned / replaced.
Then to the food - the ribs have shrunk somewhat! The rest of the starters were Ok but nothing to write home about, pretty average and only just warm.
The noodles were like rubber and not very palatable which was disappointing since they are one of my favourites. Similarly some of the main course sauces were quite runny and not as expected.
I really used to rate this place and was somewhat disappointed with my meal- it is good value for money and you can fill your boots for just under a £10 with a drink in the afternoon.
