Description: Bella Italia in Durham boasts a beautiful city location tucked away beside the River Wear at the bottom of Silver Street. Step inside the pretty entrance and dine in the charming conservatory dining room with views overlooking the river and the bridge. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the Durham Bella Italia is a popular destination not just for the lovely views but for its well priced Italian dishes such as beef and pork meatballs in a rich tomato sauce served on spaghetti or the smoked salmon, prawns and cherry tomatoes served on penne pasta with a spinach, saffron and cream sauce. Bella Italia Durham is a real gem of a restaurant.

“Gorgeous pizza at a great price”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 13, 2013

We booked here on a busy Saturday night and were really pleased with our meal. The food was lovely and the place had a great atmosphere. We sat in the conservatory part and it had a fantastic view of the river. We thought the food was well priced and certainly wasn't expensive for what we had.

“Really nice setting friendly staff but expensive”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 2, 2013 via mobile

We come across bells italia by luck. We walked down a small alley and seen a really nice sitting area so we stopped for a drink. So i got the drinks in, a large glass of wine and bottle of peroni £9.10 quite expensive. A nice place to go but on the expensive side.
