Visited here on Friday night as we were staying at the hotel next door. On first arrival, i assumed by the name that this was a rowdy nightclub and wasn't until we entered the hotel we seen it was a restaurant (door lead from hotel into restaurant).
I popped in to ask if we'd need to book and table and were advised it would be the best idea. Table booked for 5.45.
When we arrived for our meal i wasn't expecting it to be busy but the place was packed but we were quickly seated. We did however feel the who experience was rushed as we were quickly pressed for our orders and having a small child with us its not always easy to study a menu straight away.
We ordered a bottle of wine, 2 starters, 2 mains & a small main for our daughter which they offered to bring out with our starters. Food arrived very quickly and were quite large portions. On the menu the pasta dishes were about £4/£5 each. For this, i expected about 3 bits of pasta but the plates were full & very tasty. Although we still had room for 2 desserts which were also large portions.
Although we felt a bit rushed by the staff, they were very friendly and paid out daughter a lot of attention. The final bill came to £40 which we thought was very reasonable for all that we'd ordered and the portion sizes we'd recieved.
If i was back in the city i would eat here again.
