The staff were excellent, Food just about average and the prices excellent. The eating area was clean but overall it seemed a little dark and dreary. It could do with more light into the place.

“A bit plastic”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 26, 2013

This is okay if you want an inexpensive meal. Prices are good but everything I have had here appears to be microwaved and a bit 'plastic' for want of a better description. It's okay but I won't select it as a place of choice.

“Does what it says on the tin!”

Whichever Brewers Fayre you go to, all the menus are the same, all the food is the same, you get exactly the same experience no matter where in the country you are.
Probably why I have a Loyalty Card!

“Another good visit”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 10, 2013

Really enjoyed the meal, doubly so as we had a voucher for free icecream sundays that we could use with the 2 for £10 offer. It was also my son's birthday and they were happy to bring out the cake that we brought along.

“The good and the not so good”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 10, 2013

We ate here three time whilst staying at the adjacent Premier Inn. Meals are typical pub fayre along with a daily themed 'as much as you can eat' offer. All the meals were good, however the service varied significantly from day to day. One day we had attentive ever present staff, clearing dishes, refilling drinks and taking desert orders. The next day we saw nobody after our 'mains' were delivered - had to go to the bar to get bill, we did not have any extra drinks and deserts as nobody bothered to ask. Is there a moral? Do not judge a restaurant on just one visit.
