“Allways frendly Great Food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 21, 2013

Visited this pub many times, food standard is always high.I would describe their food as good honest filling pub food.Portions are always vast.Sunday lunch never disappoints. The pub is located high above langley part with some great views. The new board inn burger is a must fantastic homemade chips.Staff are friendly and accommodating. After trying many pubs in the local area that boast many claims, the board inn proves its all about quietly maintaining what is already great.

“Crackin local pub”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 7, 2013

Myself and my children visit the New Board Inn every Sunday for an excellent carvery, we are always satisfied with the quality of the food and the speed we are served. The staff are all very friendly and cannot be faulted, gravy is delicious along with the Yorkshire puddings, i always have the gammon and beef, also available is turkey, pork and sometimes chicken. I would not go anywhere else for a Sunday lunch after visiting this pub, i am so lucky to only live 2 minutes away in the car. The pub has a fantastic view over Langley Park, on a clear day you can see Penshaw Monument. If you havent been here it is well worth a visit. Congratulations to Adrian and Diane for keeping this pub up to a high standard. Joanne

We dine here once a month or so and usually the carvery on Sunday which is always fresh, hot and good choice of carved meats. We also have tried regular menu on other days and the food is always hot, fresh and plentiful and home-cooked. Recommend to book especially at weekends.

“Great food, friendly service!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 27, 2012

We had been here previously on a few occasions and were not blown away. However, after reading reviews here we decided to go for lunch with friends, and we are so glad we did. The car park was quite full - a good sign - but we still managed to get a table, even though we hadn't booked. You must try the beef in peppercorn sauce - forgotten the name, but loads of big chunks of melt in the mouth beef in a delicious creamy sauce - fab! Mince and dumplings were a big hit too. Cheesecake and Choc pudding with pecans and caramel were yummy too, and the staff were very friendly. Would definitely recommend a visit - we plan to go back....soon!

“Just excellent!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 3, 2012

Great pub, excellent quality of food, meat and fish is amazing and worth every penny you spend on your meal. Prices are very decent for what you get on your plate. We visit at least once a week for either lunch or tea, great selection of food for everyone. Nachos are a must for starter, and if you love black pudding as much as my partner you too could have it with every dish on the menu! Staff are all lovely and friendly. Great job guys keep it up!
