Another great stay. We stayed on a busy Saturday, the hotel seemed placket but the service all round was just as quick and always with a smile.

Ideal central location and roomy rooms. Breakfast was great, wide variety from continental to smoked salmon with eggs cooked how you like to order.

Next time we will up grade for £40 as it includes services we would have used, breakfast, free bar and in room coffee machine.

The only down side was the £12 car park fee. £7 if you pay through the hotel which is not stated anywhere, I got change from the hotel from the machine I changed a £10 note for 10 1 £1 coins and said it was for hen car park, but no staff mentioned I didn't need to. Nevermind.

Great Hotel. Staff are friendly, courteous and helpful. Rooms are clean with just about every amenity you could ask for. Breakfast is splendid with a great choice of well prepared and tasty food. Great location just a short walk from the town centre, Cathedral, Castle etc. Free wifi which should always be the norm these days.
The only complaint or downside is the charge for parking which is a definite rip off at £7.00 per night. If you are a paying guest why should you have to pay to park, it beggars belief to be quite honest and not on.

Spent a weekend in Durham and chose to stay at the Radisson Blu. Hotel is very well appointed and is in a very convenient location. It was very easy to find the hotel car park, just leave the car there and walk to all of Durham's many attractions. Hotel staff were all very helpful. We only ate breakfast in the hotel which was very good - a lot of choice and service provided until 12 noon - great for a lazy weekend. Leisure facilities are excellent and well-maintained. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Room Tip: Our room was at the back of the hotel. Although a railway line passes near by the room was very qui...

Hot in every sense of the word. Stunning decor, spotlessly clean, centrally located and comfy bed, however the rooms are roasting! Air con seems to be turned off every night so myself and 5 coleagues all found our rooms to be too warm. Opening windows didnt seem to work either. My only other complaint was service at breakfast was slow. Overall a very nice hotel just a little toasty for my liking.

We stayed in this hotel for one night. The check-in process was efficient and friendly, and the room was well equipped, spacious and clean. The view from the bedroom was fantastic! Will definitely stay there again when visiting Durham.

This is a very modern hotel in a central location, ideal for exploring Durham. The bedrooms are very spacious and comfortable. Spotlessly clean.
We did not have breakfast in the hotel but ate dinner in the main restaurant. It had lovely decor and a relaxing ambience with an Italian flavour. However, the food was disappointing and also very expensive. Much better to go into the town, which is only a short walk away.
We also ate at the bar. A limited menu and again expensive for what was served.
The leisure centre is great. Swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room.
Staff were all friendly and helpful.
Would definitely stay here again - as would my fussy teenage daughters.

A modern hotel that is very well equipped. The Spa and pool is very nice with a good size pool. The Gym looked very well stocked as well.

The hotel room was of a good size and quite comfortable. Plenty of space to work, plus a separate table to have a coffee etc on. The bed was large and comfortable. Sky sports in the room was nice as well.

The Bathroom was a little small, but well equipped and again very clean.

The WiFi was free, but it was a little patchy and the speed deteriorated quite a lot in the evening.

The staff on reception were very good and welcoming.

One thing that let the Hotel down on this occasion was the Bar staff and Restaurant Staff. The service was very slow. The food when it came was good and plentiful.

There was plenty of choice for breakfast and it was again of good standard.

Car parking (Open air) was an extra £7 - (I do wish hotels would not charge extra for parking) at £115 a night I expect it to be included.

Location by the river was good and it seemed well placed for the city centre. It was quite well sign posted from the main through road as well.
