This is a lovely place and nice young staff. It is evidently quite popular. And while other eateries in Barnstaple are quite expensive this is rather good value. A great selection on the menu for any time of day! Highly recommended!

We returned to Seasons recently because they had started to open in the evening again.

The meal itself was as nice as on our visits last year, however we were disappointed that the main courses on the menu had not really changed from last year and we have now tasted all the main courses on offer and we would really like to try something new now.

The portion sizes have changed also, from the pre-starter of olives, balsamic dip and bread which last year also included sun dried tomatoes to only having a small dish of mange tout and carrots with our main course to share which only came with a few jacket wedges, last year we had two dishes of vegetables and a dish of potato to join our main course.

We probably would return again for the steak deal that they offer. We will keep our eye on the menu for changes as we do feel it is still good value for money but not quite as good as last year.

Decided to go here for something to eat after seeing the reviews on trip advisor. On arrival, there wasnt any tables, and the staff were lovely, explained the situation that there probably wouldnt be one available for another 15 mins and offered to save us a table as soon as one became free. When we came back, sure enough we had a table ready for us. I ordered a scone , which I have to say was beautifully light. My friend had the beef burger, which was presented beautifully and well value for money. The staff were pleasant and nothing was too much tomorrow. Was told they opened at night as well, so will 100% go back and eat there again !

I visited Seasons during the school hols with my two children and two of their friends. We were greated by friendly staff and directed to our table. The menu had something for everyone from a light lunch to a huge cooked breakfast to pie and veg to jackets and baguettes with lots of fillings.
The kids chose a child's all day breakfast, sausage bap and jacket potato . I had fish cakes and salad which was beautiful ( and healthy). The kids breakfasts were ideal for 8/9 year olds. All 4 plates were empty . The service was efficient and friendly despite it being a busy time . The decor is pleasant and atmosphere relaxed. I was pleasantly surprised by the bill. ( more cafe prices but my fish cakes and salad were
