from the moment we entered the restaurant the experience was first class! friendly, knowledgeable staff who gave us some great personal recommendations on our meals, which were fantastic! started with the "famous nachos" which were the best i have ever tasted! home made nachos not the usual dry doritos you get in most places! then we had burgers, you choose your own combination and everything was fresh, cooked to perfection and sooo tasty!! the staff took great pride in telling us where the meat, veg, bread, etc.. came from and it was all local which really shows!! this was one of the best meals i have had in a long long time and cannot wait to visit again! i cant recommend this place enough! if you are in the area then make sure you check them out!

We went to this place following the very good reviews but it happened not to be that at all.
Chips were potatoe skins, soggy and burguer tasteless. Great idea picking your own but meat quality low, not juicy, the add ons were lacking in quality, no side salad. We have been to other burguer places and as example "the burguer joint "in Bristol following the same idea gets it right. Needless to say american burguer differs loads from what they pretend plus you get refills, corn on the cob and salad. The totem burguer, biggest one, has no garnish. You pay 26 pounds for dry low quality meat and a pile of chili and "chips". other burguers just not tasty, burguer in bun, the kiosks get it better for what it is.Sincerely the weatherspoon burguer next door is taster. The bun is dry. The burguer is not flame grilled.Staff is friendly, american larger beer is good.it was thrown together the food. We ordered the nachos and they were horrific...Nachos weren't chips like hard rock, USA steak houses or even the mexican round the corner. I wouldn't recommend this place.

This is the best restaurant in Barnstaple, without a doubt. You have to try it. Every time I've been I've received outstanding food, the best service, and all at a price that can't be beaten!

Wow what a place! We booked on a whim just to go after work to avoid the trick or treaters and what a great choice we made and glad we booked as they turned away at least 3 couples whilst we were there!
We both had burgers alas different combos, there are endless possibilities and choices of flavours to have fun with! Best home made chips ever and my chicken burger was very nice and juicy!
We were eying up what other people had and the rack of ribs also looked divine! For our two burger meals and drinks it was £23 which is very reasonable considering the quality and quantity of food , plus the great service and atmosphere!
We will be back!
Thankyou!
