With three other adults, my teenage sons and 5 year old nephew we decided that the menu looked brilliant.
It had my favourite Italian Meal on the menu and we all agreed to try it. I so wish I hadn't. We were crammed onto a table set for four, but we hadn't booked so decided not to complain.
The waitress seemed pleasant enough, but all they wanted to do was take our order, throw down the food and then take our hard earned cash and get some more poor punters through the door. This bit they must have gotten right because there was a steady stream of people.
We ordered garlic bread with cheese and Italian entrées to feed us all. We got one portion of each. Hardly enough to feed two adults let alone the six with hearty appetites. Don't trust the waitress to suggest how much you need
My brother in law ordered a veal dish in a tomato sauce. I ordered my favourite Fillet steak on a croûton with pate and marsala sauce. It was dreadful. The sauce had a skin on it and looked identical to my brother in laws. Strangely it tasted the same, and he like me described it as thin and bland. The pate wasn't the usual thick pate I expect but a swipe of the chefs knife worth.
We were in the restaurant no more than an hour and were charged £129 for the privilege.
I will never ever visit this restaurant again, and for those reading this I would suggest you don't. You will only be disappointed.
