We went on the evening buffet cruise, and the food was lovely, and staff helpful. Place was clean - a bit of a worry after another cruise elsewhere where the ship was rather tatty and toilets etc not too clean. But we need not have worried this time, all was good.
Upstairs was the Jazz Band, and they played all through the evening, and after we had eaten we were dancing to the band. They were superb.
Scenery was lovely, as expected, and all in all we had a superb 2 1/2 hour evening cruise, and will go again when in the area.
Great evening, and great start to our holiday,

Today my family and I went on a trip with your company,we were travelling from ambleside to lakeside and back,on the way home, the boat got at bowness and we were told to cross the jetty,to catch the connecting service, back to ambleside. As we approached the ambleside boat,it began to reverse away from the jetty,we were told we had missed the connection!! We were shocked,at the disinterested attitude of your staff and crew, who showed NO concern for the well being of your passengers, they're main concern was the strict running of the timetable, dispite the fact that it was the late running of your boat! Which caused us to miss the connection, this is not the first time your staff have shown complete contempt for the well being of your passengers. We were not the only family who were unsatified by your service

Took the short (45 minute) cruise. Nice, but can get crowded on Bank Holidays.

Apparently you also get a free drink on board, if you purchase your ticket at the coach park, but discovered this too late.

Hired a battery operated boat at Bowness for £20 for the hour. Sailed around the lake avoiding the buoys and the shore. Was great fun and very relaxing. An hour was plenty of time to explore. A nice treat if you have the budget.
