A few of us came in here after our hike on Sunday, Between us we had soup, teas, coffees and cakes. The food was very tasty and the drinks were refreshing, very welcoming after our hike. Pots of hot water are available to refresh the tea pot when empty. Almost everyting is home made in this cafe - even the butter!

The owners/staff are very friendly and we had a good chat with them. They were very kind, we were their last customers and as we were leaving they gave us about half a chocolate cake to take away with us without charge. They were closing the cafe for a couple of weeks and didn't want the cake wasted.

This is a lovely cafe and well worth a visit when in the area. A pity it wasn't a bit larger as they would have had a lot more custom on Sunday.

Had lunch here on a wet miserable day, and instantly felt better! The friendly and helpful staff made us feel very welcome, and the food is great, lovely tender beef in the sandwiches and real chips! The cakes and scones looked lovely too, but unfortunately we did not have enough room.
Highly recommended.

This is EVERYTHING you want from a cafe! I went with the reviews and was so glad I did. It's very small and beautiful, everything is made on site, down to the butter! They have got it exactly right-not much on the menu,so everything is simple, homemade and delicious. Loads of gorgeous homemade cakes and fantastic coffee. You feel like you have discovered a wonderful little secret. The owner and her daughter couldn't do enough for you. There are only about 12 seats which is how it should be. I wish I had something this special near home.

We made a special visit to this Team Room on recommendations from looking at Trip Advisor and are now passing on the recommendation. We had a wonderful experience here. A very warm and friendly welcome on a cold and wet day. Wonderful enormous portions of cake, lovely coffee and my daughter loved the hot chocolate with a dusted heart on it. Keep up the good work ladies. Even though it was very small with only 4 tables, the Tea Room has a very big heart! Don't go the Bowness and miss out on visit to Cafe Latte.
