We had a great time at this wonderful attraction. So life-like and covered so many of the wonderful stories. I would imagine it would get very squashy for space when there are big crowds, as it is only a small venue. This was the only thing we saw while in the Cumbria district as we were passing through, but it was well worth the stop.

Thank Catherine J

It was overpriced at £20 for 2 adults and a child and the 'garden' was non existence, even a 4 year old girl asked 'where's the garden' and she was standing at the side of it. we were only in 10 minutes.

Hi, I'm really sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your experience at The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction. We offer a family ticket at £18 for 2 adults and 2 children, which we believe offers great value for money and we have held ticket prices since 2010.

Our Peter Rabbit show garden, is designed to bring to life some of the stories and offers a snap shot designed to capture the essence of Beatrix Potter's world from the cos lettuces that Benjamin Bunny nibbled to the gooseberry bush where Peter got caught in a net as he tried to escape Mr McGregor! Kids can explore the garden with a free activity sheet and we often find kids love to rush round trying to find the little animal holes where Timmy Willie and animal friends are hiding. Often our gardener is on hand to talk about our heritage plants as everything is planted as it would have been. Thank you for your feedback.

Very well done but more for younger kids. Scenes from most books but those of us who'd read them many years ago would have appreciated a bit more of a reminder about some of the stories being depicted (perhaps a quote or two to cover the scene?)! The nearby (multi-lingual) information gives background to the writing of the story, but not the plot. Good interactive area at the end with three screens but at busy times would mean limited access to them for the kids. Good short film intro and again at end. Can get quite a traffic jam with those taking photos and buggies etc. The new courtyard garden with kids quiz is good and informative (even though it poured with rain for our visit!). They miss a trick in not selling seeds for the plants there!

A lovely place to visit. I knew very little about Beatrix Potter the person or the books, but I very much enjoyed the visit. I will be honest the best bit for me was the gift shop. Great photo opportunities throughout and make sure you get your photo taken against the choice of Green screens, only £4.75 and if you buy nothing else it’s a fab souvenir. A small exhibition and compact, but worth a visit.

We've been here before, a good few years ago, and were disappointed.

However, I can't really fault the attraction now. It's well kept, the character displays are amusing and our youngest loved them and the photograph area at the end of the displays is a nice touch.

The only thing that stopped this getting 5 stars was that having paid full price to get in I was somewhat annoyed to see others walk straight in the 'exit' doors without paying and proceed to walk around! I wasn't the only person to note this either and out of interest for its paying patrons I would respectfully suggest the attractions management try to prevent this happening!
