Very nice place to stay,Close to the lake for boat trips and lots of shops...we had a lovely room and such a nice breakfast too..some nice little touches too, with biscuits home made upon your arrival...well worth the money and would love to visit again sometime.

Room Tip: We were in room 6 with a spa bath and four poster bed..very nice

We stayed here for our first weekend away in the Lake District and were not disappointed at all. This B&B is ideally located, right next to Lake Windermere with restaurants and shops within walking distance. The owners are lovely and the whole place has a nice, relaxed atmosphere. The room was gorgeous, with a comfy four poster bed, mini-lounge and a spa bath which seemed very decadent! There is also free Wi-Fi, tea making facilities etc. Breakfast was generous with a good choice of options- you fill out the breakfast menu the day before. Overall it was perfect, will definately be coming back again!

Stayed for two nights with husband for a short break. Stayed in lakes every year for past 8 years so know he area well. First time staying here. Owners are lovely. After a mix up with rooms which wAs quickly sorted out we were settled into he suite (room 6). We had a four poster and a spa bath. It was very large and comfortable with a lovely view. Ideally situated in the town centre. Tea and coffee makin facilities wih home made biscuits. Very nice touch. Room was immaculate and warm. Breakfast was gorgeous. Sausages tasty eggs fresh and you can help yourself to yogurts cereal fruit and nuts. The whole experience was very good and would definitely recommend. Would def return. Thanks Graeme and Shirley !

Will definitely stay there again. Some really nice touches. Sherry in the lounge before you go out. Breakfastst menu you fill in the day before so the chef has your exact order. Dogs also allowed. Pub next door. Central. Say no more. A gem.
