Our lunchtime fish and chips were well cooked and the chips were crisp, dry and tasty. The fish was a little on the small side and was OK, no wow factor but again properly cooked. We have had under cooked fish when cooked to order but that wasn't the case here. The wait was not long and the staff are very friendly and chatty. The only downer for me was the price of 5.35 for a regular portion. That is over a pound dearer than our local chippy. Windermere may well be a tourist area but so is the Ribble Valley but the prices do not compare.
