“Fabulous Stay”
Reviewed October 22, 2017 for a stay in October 2017

Just came back from a 2 night stay at Camp Hill. 2 familes came from Sunderland and London to spend some quality time together.
We all had a fabulous time.
The cottage was absolutely lovely especially the fire on a cold night and the best night sleeps I've had for a long time. The grounds and gardens were well looked after, peaceful and a great area for the children to explore. (we're not keen on the old hut with the gray lady)! halloween walk!
We went on the walk at the back of the house which 3 children absolutely loved climbing over tree stumps, using the ropes to get up hill, crawling under falling trees (even I managed it with a baby in a sling). We walked to the local pub with log fires and alcohol!
We are definitely booking up for Summer 2018
Owners were really friendly and own a gorgeous house.
Thank you -
Sunderland: Paul, Katie, Oliver and baby Alice.
London: Jill, Paul, John, Frank and Prudence the dog

“A treasure trove to explore”
Reviewed June 12, 2017 for a stay in June 2017

This was an incredible find - a real treasure of a house and grounds to explore and enjoy! We had no idea this place would be quite so amazing. The cottage itself was perfect for our family and had lots of charm and everything we needed. But the true treasure was the grounds we were able to explore! Our two kids had a blast finding fun, exciting things all around the gardens. We enjoyed a family walk exploring the rhododendron tunnels, and I later had the chance to explore further up the gulley myself. Well worth every moment spent and can't wait to return for longer!! Hosts were friendly and helpful too, as was the gardener on the grounds. Wonderful stay!

“Great stay”

Lovely place, very peaceful. Not far into Baldwins Gate, and Newcastle or Market Drayton are not too far either. We enjoyed our stay, thank you.

“Lovely cosy cottage”
Reviewed April 10, 2017 for a stay in February 2017

We had a lovely short break at the cottage, clean and modern. Large gardens surrounding the cottage to explore. Would be fantastic in the summer. The building works on the main house nearby didn't hinder us. Some lovely restaurants within a short drive. Would have loved to have gone for some long walks but we weren't too sure of the best routes, we managed a short walk around the neighouring fields.

“Stunning”

What a beautiful cottage set in such stunning grounds. The children really enjoyed exploring the land, we would loose them for a good half an hour and they would return excited to tell us what they found.

“Charming & quaint cottage, wonderful setting clise to Keele Uni.”
Reviewed July 17, 2015 for a stay in July 2015

3 night stay with hubbie and 2 children of university age.
Wonderfully quaint cottage with beautiful gardens.
Plenty big enough with enough facilities to easily cater for 4 adults.
Ideally situated to attend our daughter's graduation at Keele Uni.
Friendly, helpful owners.
Would not hesitate to rebook.
