“Fantastic holiday rental, very high quality”
Reviewed August 7, 2017 for a stay in July 2017

We had really been looking forward to this holiday after reading all the positive reveiews on this property and we were definitley not disappointed! Upon arriving in the street we were sligtly worried it wasn't going to live up to expectations but as soon as we opened the door we was impressed.

Property - very clean, and well decorated. I was surprised at how much space there was especially as one of the reviews said you'd struggle with 6 people, there were 4 Adults, 2 children & a just turned 2yr old and we didn't struggle for space at all.

It is well equipped with everything you could need for your stay, even the back yard which is small but a well utilised space and very secure for Children to play in. Our 2yr old could play out without us needing to be in the yard with him.

Location - the property is ideal location very short walk to both the beach & the town centre. Weymouth itself if beautiful and absolutely packed full of things to do which I wasn't expecting.

We went with high expectations after reading the reviews, this property exceeded those expectations!

Also - a massive thankyou to the owners and the lady from the cleaning company for giving us extra time in the morning when our son with complicated health problems encountered some problems. It was a very stressful time thanks for goving us the time to get him right.

“Family holiday”
Reviewed August 5, 2017 for a stay in August 2017

Just got back after a 5 day stay. Lovely house everything you need, only downside for us was the parking, which we were aware of when we booked, but didn't realise it would be quite as bad - very narrow street and you daren't go out in the car once you have a space or it's very difficult to get another one...
As a family of 6 we took 2 cars and you only get a parking permit for one car, so my daughter had to park on the nearby car park, which cost about £12 a day and was a nightmare remembering to pay either on the ticket machine or on her phone each morning at 8am. (It's free between 6pm and 8am).
If you don't drive and went by train it would be ideal as the station is only round the corner.
The house is situated very close to the sea front so ideal for people with children.
Close to some good places to eat out. Aldi supermarket, KFC and McDonalds just a short walk away and also we found Wilkos a good place for a lot of things, which is not far either.

Owners very prompt at answering any queries you have.

Such a shame about the parking or I think we would have made it our favourite place to stay in Weymouth!

“Lovely place to stay”
Reviewed July 24, 2017 for a stay in July 2017

Stayed here last week (w/c 15th July) and wasn't sure originally on location for this but absolutely not disappointed, really lovely place from top to bottom and superbly looked after. We've stayed in Weymouth a few times and have to say this was the best place we've been at, really clean, new and modern with everything you need. Loved the lighting in the main lounge plus nice little garden area with canopy and BBQ.
Stayed with parents, my wife and 2 young kids, all of us loved it and would recommend to anyone. Don't be put off by the street, yes its a tight squeeze and odd places a bit rundown but location is brilliant and its nice and quiet at night

“Amazing cottage”
Reviewed July 15, 2017 for a stay in July 2017

We have just spent our first family holiday at this amazing cottage for 5 nights with 4 adults and one 2 year old toddler. The cottage is in immaculate condition and very well cleaned and decoded to a very high standard. The rooms are spacious and there is everything you need in the cottage. We mostly used this as a base as we wanted a beach holiday for our little one and was not disappointed, it is within 5mins walking distance of the train station and the sandy beach. The shops are very near bye with Londis and Tesco metro only a few mins walk from it. The cottage is well equipped for anything needed, in fact our little man slept more here and longer than he does at home which was a godsend. We could not fault this cottage and look forward to staying here in the future.

Exceptional beautiful cottage,
Which makes spending time in house a pleasure, well thought out! Great space, and so close to just about everything. So nice to know that had their been any problems we were reminded that the owners would be happy to help! How reassuring. Thank you

“Home from home”
Reviewed June 29, 2017 for a stay in June 2017

Just returned from Lilystone cottage. Very high specced comfortable property with everything you need. Perfectly located for transport and beach and 5 mins walk in to town. Great base to explore the area. Will definitely return even in the colder months to use the cosy wood burner.

“Excellent cottage in the heart of Dorset”
Reviewed June 26, 2017 for a stay in April 2017

We planned a Easter break to Dorset, and we wanted to hire out a cottage for a home away from home feel for us and our 2 little girls. We booked early on in the year to avoid the Easter rush.

The location is very central, the beach is only 5 minutes walk away and everything from the town centre to the harbour are within walking distance. On street parking is provided with a parking permit but the spaces can be a bit scarce at busier periods, but we never had a problem parking overnight.

As Weymouth is fairly central, it’s the perfect place to stay whilst most of of what Dorset has to offer is within 30-60 mins drive away. Portland is a short drive away which offers spectacular views of Chesil Beach, and day trips can be had within half an hour to West Bay/Bridport (to the west) and Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove (to the east). Lymes Regis and Charmouth is a great day out too, as well as Sandbanks and Bournemouth. As you can see, we covered a lot of ground in our 6 days in Dorset!

Weymouth has a fantastic beach too so we would go back in the evenings and sit on the beach with an Ice Cream before heading back to the cottage, which we can only highly praised for the high level of attention to detail. The pictures on the website don’t really do it justice (it could do with some wider angle shots), but once you are in the cottage, you will experience how much love and attention to detail the owners Steve and Tracey have put into providing an excellent holiday home for holidaymakers to enjoy.

If you are planning a trip to the Dorset region, then I can thoroughly recommend this beautiful cottage in Weymouth. Hopefully be returning next year to explore the other parts of the beautiful Dorset area.
