Nice place good food, has 2 parts for food small restaurant plus a bar area. the menus are extensive and reasonable value. my only complaint is the bar can be very noisy if there is a football match on.

Read good reviews on here so gave the rock a try, the rock website advertised 2courses for £10 but apparently that was a old deal so we did not get it, the slogan is restaurant food at pub prices but i found it to be pub food at restaurant prices , food was ok nothing special im an average joe kind of guy not a hoo-rah-henry so i wasnt expecting the ritz ! Very quiet no atmosphere no one manning the bar so felt like we were interupting to get served rather than we were customers, even though the staff were very polite and freindly , wasnt warming sorry :(

Went for a meal on a sunday evening, although it was quiet, the service and food was fantastic, they could not have been more attentive.
We went in the lovely restuarant area which looks like it has been recently decorated.

Enjoyable evening recently, Courage Ale very very good, toilets as said a bit funky and a need a bit of an update but often the best pubs have the worst toilets, would return next time I am in the area(not just to the toilets but the pub too!)
. Could do with a couple more single malts on the list, Glenmorangie and Glen Moray is a bit of a limited choice (get some balvenie in!)
