We had a lovely stay here in the Blandford Lodges. Number 44.
Slightly smaller than the Dorchester that we stayed in last year, however, the location was much better as right by the activities.
We were 3 adults and 3 kids aged 14,12 and 7. Plenty for them all to do.
The local area into Weymouth also offers plenty attractions...Osemington, Ringstead and Lulworth to name a few.

The Lodge itself has a gated decking. The kitchen was fully equipped. Only slight problem was the tap in the lodge. Mentioned it at reception and it was mended within a few hours.
Don't forget your dishwasher and laundry tablets. What a bonus with the washer/dryer....did all the washing as the week went along so no holiday washing to come home to :-))
One tip with the washer/dryer....put on a wash cycle, then spin and finally Dry. Don't forget the spin!!
Large LCD Tv, DVD, CD Radio all in the lodge.

Kids tried out the fishing and brought a day permit.
We went to the pool, slots, adventure playground, gym, roller skating and tried out the Ringos at the snow centre.
Last year the kids did skiing but we just didn't have time to fit it in this year.
Altogether a great time at Warmwell. Most definitely the prettiest Park Dean Site.

Ps: lovely to walk around the wildlife. Especially the deer who must live behind our lodge through the trees. They greeted us numerous occasions each day

Recently made our second visit to the above Park. Stayed in an 8 bed Lodge. Although a little tired looking still in good condition. Electric stove was a little slow. Facilities kept our grandchildren happy and occupied for the week. Kids especially enjoyed the Dry Ski slope.

Staff throughout the site were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The site is clean and tidy. Great to have deer and squirrels wandering around the park. Grandchildren got addicted to the 2p machines in the leisure area. Kids also enjoyed the excellent pool with wave machine and roller rink. Ate in the restaurant a couple of times - food was very acceptable but had gone up a little since last year in price.

Overall great values for money.

have been to park many times for long weekends for family of six for granddaughters birthday in march. love the place due to the fact we are yokels and not townies. lodges great for families, really spacecous and full size bathrooms ideal for kids.e very thing in there that you have at home, lovely setting in wood land with fishing lakes and great walks, try to get lodge next to lake as great sitting on veranda looking out. have fished lakes but yet to catch anything but wont stop trying, take a mat with you as they charge about ten quid to hire one and you cant fish with out one. kids love ski slopes and arcades plus we all play bingo yet to win. entertainment can be a bit cheesey but kids well happy. near to weymouth for beach, dorchester for shopping, and monkey world. staff very helpful, broke down on way down, and daughter got staff to help locate nearest garage, and also gave assisstance on site with jump start. have booked again for next march, would love to own lodge as be there every weekend

Morning: got there and had to wait for our room even though we were past the time that they said to log in. Got in all was fine. Dirty glasses in the cupboard. We were half board and had to eat between 5:30-6:30 very tight times. Service we very slow and didn't think much of the food when it came. Got back beds were comfy. Next day breakfast was not much better. Before dinner went to use the relatively slow wifi. I had a pear j20, my mum had a crabbies ginger beer. Obviously there was lipstick on the glass. No one really round the bar that night (so expensive) next day we do the same and we get the same glass back! How do we know... Because the lipstick was still on there! The plates or the breakfast bowls were also dirty. Dinner times were always a disappointment because every night there was always a trio of ice cream, selection or gateaux or a other item. The other item was never available and there was NO selection or gateaux at all. As i said could take it or leave it.

Room Tip: If you book early you will get a room closer to the restaurant. Rooms by the ski slope and ponds are...

We had read some less than good reviews before spending a two week holiday there at the end of July, start of August 2013. Our fears were imediately dispelled on arrival where we found a well layed out neat park and a good standard lodge cabin (No 40) in an excellent location. I will give what we consider were the Pro's and cons.

The Con's. Overpriced NISA store although it carried most of the necessities and was therefore handy. Nowhere to sit for a quiet drink. If you want little ones to try out the ski slopes take gloves with you as they are not loaned out, you have to buy them at the centre and are of course completely useless afterwards in the height of summer. There wasn't much information about the electrical equipment in the lodge and it wasn't until our second week that we found the switch that opererated the heated towel rail in the bathroom.

The Pro's. A well managed, clean site with attentive, helpful staff. Good facilities for children, fishing, skiing, roller skating and swimming. The childrens entertainment was fantastic and our 7 and 10 year old grandchildren loved the shows. The same people performed later for the adults and with obvious limitations put on some splendid shows. The performers deserve a lot of praise. The amusements are well used and are made up of the usual 2p, 10p and 50p gambles. The children had machines where they could win loads of tickets that could be fed into a second machine that gave you a print out ticket showing the total amount of tickets won. All the ticket winnings can be exchanged at a store with toys as the main prizes. My grandson had about 1200 tickets at the end f our 2 week stay and didn't get much in return. It certainly wasn't value for money but he really enjoyed playing the machines, so overall a result. The site is extremely quiet at night and we slept in later than usual as the sounds we get back at home were absent.

Sometimes at the end of a 2 week holiday we look forward to getting back home. Not this time. All seven of us would have happily stayed on longer if we could and the grandchildren particularly want to return to this site again.

Room Tip: Lodges 39 and 40 were fine for our family. Good parking and views.

I went for a week with family in July. We went last year and booked for this year as well. Wish we hadn't!
We stayed in the same lodge as last year number 68 which has a lovely view of the lakes.
The cabin itself was clean but is looking worn inside and out. Decking was very neglected and needs a good coat of varnish.

We did notice this year that there were RATS roaming around. 1 saw 2 in broad daylight and overheard a male saying that he had seen too many rats and that he would not be returning.

Prior to attending Warmwell, I checked my water in my car as i was driving a fair distance. When I returned home, i checked the water again as it had been really hot and discovered that the said RATS has been having lunch on a foam pipe covering in my engine.

I have had a very non helpful reply from the park and will not be returning to stay ever again

Go at your own risk as you may get a £300 bill as I have to repair the RAT damage.....
