“Good self catering holiday park”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 14, 2012

I stayed here for 4 nights in early November with 7 family members with ages ranging from 11 years to 48 years.. We had a heated 3 bedroom lodge with a double sofa bed in the lounge area. On arrival the lodge (number 225) had been cleaned well but was very tired and in need of a lot of TLC, however on exploring the park we noticed that many of the other lodges had been renovated and so assume we were just unlucky or should have gone for the "luxury" option. The park site itself was very clean and a pleasure to walk around. The park has a lot of onsite facilities which are either free with the club passes or very reasonably priced. We didn't go to the evening shows but, from what we did see, younger children loved the Sid and Lizzie shows.

We found all of the staff to be very friendly, approachable and professional. The only exception to this was Thursday nights security staff and the young lady in the arcade who, to be honest, were dreadful! If management are reading this may I suggest that you check your CCTV and compare and contrast the level of service provided (or not) by your Thursday night staff and the excellent service provided during the rest of the week.

We had a lovely family break and would happily return to this park in the future.

Room Tip: Don't have lodge 225 until it has had a refit!

We spent half term holidays here in one of the 'luxury lodges'. You get what you pay for. It was gorgeous and HUGE!
I've read other reviews saying the lodges were dated/damp etc, but the one we had was really fab.
The entertainment staff were great with the kids. Unlike other holiday parks, who only choose the usual 8-9 year olds to get up on stage, here, for example, they got every single child up on stage, individually, who had dressed up for Halloween. Yes, it made for quite a long evening, but the kids were chuffed!
The indoor soft play area was clean and didn't smell like some can (if you've been to the ones that smell of 'kids' you'll know what I mean!)
Pool area was nice, but check opening times
The restaurant was okay. Not Michelin starred of course, but again, you get what you pay for. It's adequate.
The surroundings, the lakes, forest etc are lovely. It's a really nice setting
There's a play park for the kids, and a dry ski slope for those a bit more adventurous. If you have teenagers they will love the ski slope, pool and roller disco
All in all, I would recommend this place and will almost certainly go again (but will pay the extra for creature comforts!!)

Just returned from a family 3 night sun break . Park was really nice , better then I expected and at a brilliant price . The lodges were really nice and very cosy , especially as it was quite wet and cold out . Facilities were good , restaurant was nice with a really good choice . Loads to do for the kids including soft play and a nice pool . All in all a really nice family break at a good price , we will return .

Just returned from a long weekend at Warmwell Holiday Park. We stayed in a private lodge which was just stunning!!!

The park is in a beautiful location and within easy reach of Weymouth and attractions.

The swimming pool and entertainment venue were good. The kids really enjoyed the entertainment on offer. Pub was reasonable price and nice atmosphere.

All in all a lovely weekend break.

I stayed at Warmwell holiday park in October and was very impressed with the whole place. The lodge i stayed in was comfortable and clean, the setting is wonderful.
The sqirrels were waiting for nuts every time i looked out of the window and almost take the nuts out of your hand, The deer are wandering around the wood and take apple from your hand it was so amazing.
I only used the restaurant once but found it had a good menu and catered for everyone the food was very tasty and hot, this also was very clean and roomy. There were plenty of activities for children, ski slope, bike hire, arcade, chippy, supermarket, launderette, and several play area's. Only about 8 miles from Weymouth. I thouroughly recommend this park. i stayed on a promotional week so the price was great.

Room Tip: lodge 90 was great not to far to walk for the shops

We stayed in one of the 3 bed lodges (Portland I think?) for a week in September 2012. Our group consisted of myself and my Husband, our two Sons (3 and 18 months) and my parents in their 60's.

The accomodation was reasonable, fairly dated but comfortable enough. It was pretty clean although not immaculate (i.e. the bin looked clean but had a bit of mold under the bin bag at the bottom.) The park itself was very well kept and very pretty, set in amongst the woodlands. The restaurant was a let down with not a huge deal of choise, especially if you don't eat meat. We didn't use the club house so can't comment on that.

The swimming pool was great for our little boys. I used the gym a couple of times and this was very basic, however if you enjoy running the park itself and surrounding areas are very scenic.

The location of the park is superb. Just a short drive to Weymouth and places like Lullworth Cove, Durdle Door, Corfe Castle, Swanage etc.

This park could do with some updating of the accomodation and a thorough deep cleanse of each of the lodges that need it! It was not as nice as the Parkdean holiday park in Croyde which we have visited a coupel of times before.

Very clean and warm, usually when we go to a holiday park i have to wash up all of the crockery, cutlery and pans but it was all clean, impressed. Beds made up ready, another plus. Ideal location, heating in every room. Sun Holiday so really impressed. Good locality, close for Weymouth, Dorchester, Yeovil, Bridport and West Bay. Would go again. PS, also 32" TV with Freeview, DVD Player and Hoover in the lodge.
