I can only reiterate what has already been said. Lovely well equipped room spotlessly clean. We stayed in room one which was small but fine for our purposes. Sam is very helpful and the service was fantastic. Breakfast was great too. The location is quiet and central to Weymouth and there is a small shop nearby which was handy.
I would certainly recommend.

Stayed for four nights at beginning of October 2010. Friendly welcome from Sam; carried our bags upstairs. House is immaculate. Breakfast could not have been better, especially the sausages. Room clean and comfortable with well stocked tea and biscuits. A very good experience all round and to be recommended.

I stopped using guest houses some years ago, as I found so many were poorly run, aimed at old people, or just plain rubbish. When my wife booked a long weekend at the Cunard, I was a bit aprehensive. I was pleasantly surprised. Sam the owner met us when we arrived, and nothing was too much trouble for him, even carrying our heavy cases up the stairs. Although the Cunard is a period property, it has been decorated to a modern taste, which suits me fine. It is immaculately clean, and the food is to a high standard. My two young sons, said it should be five star instead of four, which knowing them is high praise indeed. I read through some of the other reviews, including the moron who gave 1 star, because when he cancelled after check in he did not get a refund, if you read the review, the fact he had the cheek to ask, tells you why you should ignore his comments.

As above I have stayed in many small guest houses, and these guys know what they are doing, and are not afraid of hard work. Well done Cunard and thanks for a really pleasant weekend.

Very friendly owner and made us feel very welcome, we felt right at home, the room was nice and the chocolates were a lovely touch. Would recommend this guest house to anyone who wants to visit Weymouth which is a lovely place to visit and if you are going to Jersey it is 5 minutes away from the port.

We stayed at the Cunard for 5 nights and would highly recommend. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Straight away we were made to feel welcome there. Breakfast was a real highlight with choice from full english, veggie option, cereals, toast and jams. We were only a short walk from the beach and the owners could give us details of other local places of interest. The room was cosy and very clean. All in all very good value for money and hope to return again some time!
