We had a fantastic time here. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we've decided adopt the B&B! I really like the couple that run this place, they both rock!

Amazing view from our room of the harbour, I wanted to live in our bedroom! Lovely breakfast. Ideal position for the beach and shops.

I'm actually a bit reluctant to say how good it is, just in case I can't get my room back in the future!

Will def go back.

We stayed at the Sandcombe for 3 nights recently and it was a very pleasant stay! They are fabulously located on the beach and walking distance to restaurants & shops. The other side of the b&b is the harbour-side which also has some fantastic restaurants. We stayed in the family room and it was adequately spacious with a small but nice, clean & functioning bathroom. The owners - Blane & Jacqui are extremely warm & hospitable. They keep the place great and serve yummy breakfast with a sense of humor! You also have access to toys for the little ones, lots of information to for short day trips if you choose to, and some nice reads with books & magazines if you want to just lie in and relax. I would recommend this place all over again - it was great for us as we traveled with a toddler and my dad! The parking on the road is a bit tight, but we were lucky to get a good spot twice over.

Good clean room with harbour view and two chairs to sit and enjoy it, perfect! Great location, easy walk to harbour one side and beach the other. Owners very helpful and lovely cooked breakfast with fresh fruit and usual cereals etc. Parking is limited, but we were lucky and found a space when needed. Overall would definitely recommend.

We stayed at the Sandcombe during the Dorset Seafood Festival weekend. We stayed in a lovely, clean & bright harbour view room. Breakfast was plentiful and yummy. It was a lovely touch to be greated by name by the owners, who were very friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic with rooms offerring beach or harbour views. We'd only make one suggestion for improvement and that is having a fan in the room during hot weather. Overall a lovely and would highly recommend.

Beautiful guest house! With a choice of sea or harbour view, both as good as each other. Really friendly host, willing to help and very kind. Exceptionally clean and well looked after for the age of the property, which is nice, lots of character and charm. ! Breakfast was brilliant, everything was spotless, cutlery well polished could see reflection in knife, so clean. Really loved all the little touches. A brilliant place to stay.

We stayed in the twin room on the first floor over looking the beach.

The room itself was a good size, clean with a small flat screen telly, tea/coffee facilities, en-suite with shower and also free wi-fi although a tad slow but useable.

The mobile signal on the Three network was ok as was the 3G signal.

No complaints about the location, very close to the shops, restaurants, cinema and amusements.

They also have parking permits which u can reserve when booking.

The hosts Jacqui & Blane are very friendly and make a point of getting to know you on a first name basis which is a nice personal touch.

There is a good selection of food for breakfast, cereal, toast, fruit, fresh tea & coffee plus a cooked breakfast to order - sauasage, bacon, egg, hash brown plus mushrooms and tomatoes are also available, which again is all good.

To sum up we had a very pleasant stay and are looking to stay again next year.

We arrived on a Monday afternoon, and were shown to our room, which overlooked the harbour. It was a lovely view, but not quite what we needed, (Through no fault of the owners, I stress.) To my surprise we were offered another room, and once we entered it, I knew we were going to have a fantastic stay.
The view was fantastic, the room, bright and airy, and everything we needed was provided.
A critical part of a stay is how you interact with the owners. If there is no banter it can spoil things, but in this case we had a laugh every morning, which set us up perfectly for the day ahead, with a lovely breakfast inside us, to fuel us until dinner.
it wasn't hard for us to decide where we are going next year. All things being good, we hope to return again.
