An excellent place to stay in Weymouth. I was made to feel very welcome from the moment I rang to book, to the time I checked out. Even though the hotel was full, breakfast was great. Freshly cooked and exactly what we wanted. Rooms were clean and well presented. The location was ideal to explore both the town of Weymouth and surrounding area. I stayed with a group of friends attending a wedding reception in the town. Alan and Louise were very welcoming and helpful towards us all.

what a pleasure, lovely old rambling house with lots of homely touches , spacious bedrooms, exceptionally clean, catering for families, very nice bar area with honesty pad,TV and games. TV in each room , lovely white fluffy towels and two of the most lovely people you could wish to meet. Breakfast is beautifully cooked by Alan and served by the lovely Louise, everything you would want to eat is available, nothing is too much trouble a real find. Superb walking along Rodwell Way to Portland or Weymouth. There is a very nice garden with vies for guests and parking and a nice quite cul de sac.

Room Tip: no 14 was superb lovely view, comfy beds, although all seemed good

Have just got back from a short break at the Eastney in the beautiful Dorset countryside. The family run hotel is an idea base to explore Weymouth and the many interesting villages and towns nearby. The very friendly and helpful owners (Louise and Alan) obviously love living in this part of the world and are very helpful in suggesting places to visit - they have a comprehensive board of information on local business, restaurants and places of interest to visit. The Eastney building is full of character and the clean and well maintained rooms are very comfortable, each with a spotlessly clean bathroom. The breakfasts are wonderful - expertly cooked by Alan or knitted by Louise! In a quiet street, with a free car park, pretty gardens with views overlooking the sea and in easy walking distance of beaches and the town, this was the perfect place to stay for a happy and relaxing break.

I personally have stayed at the Eastney hotel soon after it was first opened to the public, and i was made to feel so welcome and comfortable, I made sure that I returned when spending New Years in Weymouth earlier this year. The food, the games room, the bar, and the friendly and homely feeling you get from the hotel and the owners means you don't have to leave Eastney to enjoy your stay in Weymouth. However, the ideal location and short 5 minute walk to such sites of interest as the town center, the beach, the harbor and the historical fort makes Eastney hotel the perfect place to stay when visiting the south coast.

Room Tip: Every room I've stayed in has been immaculate so it would be impossible choose which one is best...

We took our 4 year old and our 5 month old baby and they were so accommodating and thoughtful. So welcoming, friendly and clean. Our room, ensuite and the hotel had all we needed. It was the perfect distance from the front, close enough to walk to the beach/shops/restaurants, but in a quiet street, not too far from a playground too. Great to have a lovely view. So much to do in and near Weymouth. Not to mention the hotels' comfy games, TV room and bar! Loved the breakfasts - fabulous cook and service. Good off street parking. Easy to find.

Room Tip: Just call and ask Alan or Louise for advice about which room might suit your needs best, they advise...

We stayed at the hotel over the New Year and cannot fault it. The service was excellent and our room was beautiful with an excellent view of the Weymouth coastline. The hotel is situated about 5 minutes from Weymouth town centre and offers a lovely walk. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and if anyone is debating a weekend away or longer then I strongly recommend choosing Eastney as your choice of stay. Thank you Eastney for our wonderful stay.

We stayed at the Eastney hotel over New Years and had a brilliant time. The rooms were nice a spacious with great views of the sea. Everything was lovely and clean and the facilities catered for all of our needs during our short stay. The food was also brilliant, dinner and breakfast....perfect. The walks in the surrounding area were spectacular and definitely worth a visit. All in all, the hotel was in a great location and we will definitely be returning.
