When we visited the Golden Sands on Sunday 28th July they had only been open for a couple of days. They were offering traditional Sunday lunch and a range of specials.
As we were at the seaside we plumped for fish and chips and they were fantastic!
The fish was fresh and tasted of the sea (not always a given even by the sea!); the chips were crisp and golden and were accompanied by the biggest plate of bread and butter I have ever seen! We each had a glass of very reasonably priced wine, the white being well chilled.
The service was good - we had a slight wait for our meals but that is to be expected when they are freshly prepared.
Overall, I would be delighted to return for a meal and wish we lived a bit closer!
The only thing I would say to the owners would be - get yourselves listed on some websites and local guides as it was a bit difficult to find any details to leave you a review!
