“Very good flat in ideal location in quiet area close to harbour”

Ideal flat for stay in Weymouth. Excellent location with only a short walk to harbour.
Flat was self contained within a large house and was very clean and inviting. All amenities included and "welcome pack" was amazing including plenty of delicious treats as other reviews have mentioned. The owners were delightful and recommended things to do when I mentioned I liked walking and wanted to visit Abbotsbury...couldn't have been more helpful.
Hope to return to this lovely area of Dorset again and would not hesitate to stay here again

By far the most beautiful house in the area. Very clean and tidy. Everything you need in a self catering apartment is there.
It's close to Weymouth beach and Harbour and the city itself. All walking distance.
So many attractions to see and do for great days out.
Very kind owners and very helpful.

100% recommend

“What a Welcome”

This was a welcome pack second to none, even had 2 bowls of prepared strawberries and a carton of fresh cream!
What a lovely apartment, high ceilings, light airy and beautifully clean. Really comfy beds and looked down on the gorgeous garden which we could sit in. had own access, but were also told we were welcome to use access through the owners' house if we wished.
Great location, only 5 minutes walk to the old harbour and down into town.
We left the car in the parking space most of the week and just walked.
Our first visit to both Weymouth and this property but probably won't be our last.

“A perfect and peaceful place to stay .”
Reviewed April 25, 2016 for a stay in April 2016

We stayed at Rosehill for a week and would love to have stayed longer. This self contained flat is part of a beautiful lager town house, in a quiet residential area just 5 to 10 minutes walk down to all the amenities of Weymouth. The owners are a lovely couple, Paula and Gordon who live in the house and made us feel very welcome. They respected our privacy the entire week as we came and went, and you are made to feel right at home. The flat is upstairs with its own "front" door and the beautiful garden can be accessed via your own "back" door, down the outside steps. Access to the flat can be by either the main house front door or via the garden. The separate kitchen had all the utensils, crockery and pans you could need. There is a microwave, full cooker and fridge freezer. On our arrival we received the lovely surprise of food, tea, coffee, sugar and milk. There was even a bottle of wine chilling in the fridge for us (thanks!). The main lounge, that has the double sofa bed, was very spacious with beautiful decor as was the separate twin bedroom. The en-suite bathroom was a standard size with a cubical shower. The heating is controlled by a boiler in the kitchen, radiators and a beautiful fire in the lounge The whole place was spotless and looks to have been recently refurbished to a high standard. We made use of the CD player (with a selection of CDs) the board games and the TV. There were also DVDs but what we thought was a DVD player was in fact a video recorder.
Overall a great place to stay and very good value for money. We would definitely stay here again.
