My friend and I stayed at The Old Rectory for 3 nights in the Portland Room. We were met at the door by Barbara and Graeme who were very welcoming and before we had even got our luggage in from the car there was a tray of tea and muffins in our room. Our room was delightful: beautifully decorated with extremely comfortable beds, high quality bedding with a gorgeous bathroom directly next door. The full english breakfast was delicious and the service was faultless. Overall the best B&B experience we have ever had. The Old Rectory is highly recommended to all.

My firend and I stayed at the Old Rectory a few weeks ago. When we arrived, we were so warmly welcomed by the owners, who offered us delicious home made cake! We were shown to our room, which had its own private terrace with a view on the sea! The room was so lovely that we would both love to return soon! The bathroom was equally gorgeous! We both had a great night's sleep! The beds and pillows were ever so comfy! Extremely quick walk into town! The full english breakfast was probably the best i have ever had! I highly recommend the Old Rectory!

We stayed in The Old Rectory for the one night, in the Cheshill beach room. The house itself and room was beautifully decorated. Graeme met us at the door on our arrival and was very helpful, he had a map prepared with attractions and restaurants marked out. We were offered tea and cake.
I was taking part in a triathlon event and needed to store equipment in the garage. Graeme was really kind to get up really early the next morning to get my stuff out. We were a bit delayed on our return and were late checking out , Graeme was very patient in allowing us some extra time to organise ourselves. I would highly recommend the Old Rectory.

Enjoyed a one night stay on business at the The Old Rectory. Charming hosts Barbara and Graeme made me feel very welcome as soon as I walked through the door. A pot of tea was on hand within moments as I unpacked for my night in the Chessil Beach room which was furnished in exquisite detail. The bed was very comfortable with crisp white bedding which made for a good night's sleep. Breakfast was excellent too. Highly recommended.

We were two friends staying in two of the three superbe rooms at the Old Rectory for three nights over the Bank Holiday weekend. Luxuriously furnished in antique style, beautiful draperies and quality beds. A very good night's sleep. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The bathroom a delight with a great shower and even a bathtub. I had the balcony room and could watch people bowling at the Greenhill Gardens, behind them the deep blue sea...picture perfect.
Barbara and Graeme are great hosts, calm, always there to exchange a word and their breakfasts purely delicious: my friend had her fresh fruit salad every morning, I went for the full English, but there was cereal, yoghurt, cheese, toasts, preserves - you name it.
Very pleasant stroll into town, barely 10 minutes along the promenade. We had a great time in Weymouth and felt pampered by our hosts. Will definitly return. Thank you Barbara and Graeme!

Room Tip: The Balcony room for great views!

We had previously stayed with Graeme and Barbara when they had their beautiful B and B at Eastbourne and so were expecting the very highest standard. We were not disappointed. A warm welcome, immaculate characterful house, luxurious bedroom and delicious breakfasts. Because guests were vacating on one of the days we stayed we were able to view all three bedrooms and whilst perhaps the one we stayed in 'The Dorchester' was the grandest, all are tastefully decorated with very comfortable beds; we would happily stay in any one of the rooms. It's the little thoughtful touches that put the Old Rectory above other B and B's like providing wine glasses without being asked when a bottle of wine was spotted in our room, up market toiletries and courtesy bathrobes. My husband really appreciated the large screen TV in the room. Parking on site and a 15 min walk along the prom to the harbour and pubs/restaurants (although there are eating places closer). We look forward to returning.
