We visited on a Saturday night and we were accomodated even though a lot of the tables were reserved. All of the Staff were polite. I had a fantastic cider tasting tray which consisted of 5 glasses of different ciders....bliss, my girlfriend wasn't sure which cider to choose but the barmaid was only too happy to let her try a taster before ordering. We both ordered pizzas which were very tasty and served very efficiently. Fantastic setting, simple decor but very effective. Thoroughly recommended if you are looking for a laid back evening and of course enjoy cider!!

My experience of the service and food was so poor, I'd rather not spend too much time on a review, but to summarise...

- A good selection of ciders, but a premium price, nothing much less than £4/pint - order at the bar.
- Garlic bread was like a stale poppadom, my jaw ached after a few bites.
- Pizzas are on the same thin, strange 'jaw-ache' base and are an outrage for what you get for the money, and really don't taste of a lot either.

The establishment rings of 'pile it high' but don't sell it cheap! Service, don't worry, there isn't really any.

Plenty of other far nicer places in Weymouth and Dorset as a whole, go elsewhere!

If you love cider you will love this place, they have 57 varieties to try,,.. Well obviously not all in one go... Brilliant place, very simple idea, but so effective. They literally sell pizza and pies and that's it food wise. All local produce used, amazing quality and excellent value for money.

Very laid back, casual atmosphere, you sit where you like, choose your food and drink and order and pay at the bar and they bring it to you easy..

This is a seriously fun place with a cracking atmosphere. Staff very helpful and plenty of advice available if you are a virgin to real ciders. I loved the fact you can have a sample rack of 5 varieties of cider to get you tasting new things.

Will definitely return here when next in area, highly recommended.. We celebrated our 9th wedding anniversary here and we had a great time..

It may sound like a slightly odd idea, local ingredients made in to pizzas. Bridport sausages, blue vinny cheese, locally caught fish, all on a home made pizza base. It works though ! A decent choice of pizzas and also a fair few pies (that I really should try soon).
To drink, if it tickles your fancy, they claim to have 57 varieties of cider. They don't alas have all 57 on at one time, but you are sure to get a decent selection. The best way to sample them is to ask for the taster tray. 5 small glasses with 5 different varieties of cider.
The table layout is a little odd. Big, long tables with bench seats rather than the standard 2/4/6 seater tables in most restaurants. Nice views over the harbour.
Been here 4 times now, aiming to go back again soon. Would recommend it.
