Close to Haven sites; but a wonderful local pub that welcomes all. Food in the bar or restaurant makes for a relaxed friendly time.

We ate here a couple of times when stayinmg at nearby Seaview site. Both times food was very good and staff friendly and welcoming . You can watch chef at work in the kitchen. Food tasty, hot, good portions and reasonable price.

The Spice Ship is located in Preston Village on the main road out of Weymouth to the east. It's biggest draw is the large garden, making it ideal fro families staying in the large holiday parks nearby - makes a break from self-catering or eating in the site cafes. The food is good pub grub - probably not worth making a special trip out from Weymouth for, but great if you are staying nearby.

very large pub at preston on white horse hill near caravan sites. this is a family pub with garden play area and function/ restaurant area. can be very busy in summer months. the food is tradition pub grub with a good carvery and large car park at side. pub looking a bit tied could do with a slap of paint but ok.
