“Perfect!”

Have walked past the Nothe Tavern a few years on previous holidays to the area, and finally made it inside this year. Excellent choice on the menu..I had the pork belly which was perfectly cooked...my partner had lamb cutlets which were delicious, we were spoilt for choice!
Lovely friendly staff, made a point to interact with us which makes a nice change. Relaxed atmosphere while eating, staff weren't too fussy around us but made sure we had everything we needed.
Will definitely be back again next time we're in the area.

4 adults and 2 children were in our party visiting this pub/restaurant and we all had a lovely meal here, the menus had an excellent choice and when our food came out it was all piping hot and a great size portion, children's menu was good value which included a drink and a pudding. Would definatly recommend the Nothe Tavern.

“Fabulous Evening - You won't be disappointed”
Reviewed November 10, 2013

We recently held a birthday celebration for family here. The staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble even when we had additional guests arrive partway through the meal. The food was plentiful and very tasty and we would recommend.

Parking charges when we ate there in November had been suspended after 6:00 pm which was a pleasant surprise.

“Lovely evening :)”
Reviewed November 9, 2013 via mobile

After trekking through Weymouth and a few very dodgy looking establishments with no customers inside (on a Friday evening?!!) I was glad to find the Nothe on Trip Advisor and find it with Google maps lol. It was busy and had a good atmosphere and a warm welcome as soon as we entered. We had the seafood medley to start, which was very nice - although overloaded with Whitebait and not so much Calamari or Prawns. My partner went on on to have the Lasagne (now he is very picky) and he loved it. It came with garlic bread and chips and he couldn't finish it all although he wanted to!! I had the rump steak with salad and some French stick on the side which was warm and delicious!! The steak was quite gristly which was a disappointment but I cut around it and it was not inedible. I did make this know when staff asked how the meal was and the chef and staff were very apologetic and we were compensated for this. Couldn't ask for more. The waffles for dessert were glorious!! I had Banoffee and my partner had malteasers yum!! Overall wonderful really attentive polite staff who were eager to please and straight away rectified problem. I would recommend and go back myself.

“Brilliant”

Great food and great service. Had carvery, and even got asked if that was enough meat!! Brilliant. Only downside is having to pay for car parking opposite if no on street parking available.
