Booked here after reading fellow reviews on Trip Adviser for Easter Sunday lunch. We were not disappointed. Walked into a friendly pub which was very busy. Were seated quick and drinks orders taken within minutes. Decided on the carvery which was very popular. Lovely choice of three roast meats, beef, pork and ham. Roast and boiled potatoes. Roast parsnips and Yorkshire puddings. Broccoli and cauliflower bake, boiled carrots, stuffing, cabbage and plenty of gravy! Carvery hot plate was consistently topped up and everything was tasty and fresh. I asked for a slice of every meat and my plate was filled before I even put any vegetables on it! The portions are huge. Don't eat breakfast before you visit for lunch! A few of us decided to have a pud and we were not disappoint with them. All home made and delish. Banoffee pie was fab and the sundaes are an ice cream lovers dream. Very relaxed atmosphere and family friendly. Would highly recommend.
