Just spent a lovely long weekend here with friends. Although the room was not that big it was adequate and clean for what we needed. An added bonus was you could smell the freshness in the bed linen which I find a lot of places you can`t. Glyn was a great host and although we didn`t see his wife Carol much she cooked a lovely breakfast. Ideal for walking to the shops and harbour and straight opposite the beach. Would stay here again.

Went for a long weekend. Room was lovely, well decorated and fantastic view of the beach and a lovely seating area in the bay window. En-suite was modern with everything needed was provided such as towels and shower gels. Hosts were welcoming and nothing was too much trouble to make your stay great. A great choice of breakfasts including veggie options on the full English. Hotel offered a range of information on things to do in and around the area. I can honestly say that it's one of the best small hotels / guest houses we have stayed at in the UK.
Parking in the area of Brunswick Terrace has always been a challenge as its restricted hours during the day from 10.00 am - 6.00 pm, so need to get timings right, but most of the time we were out and about during the day so didn't affect us. But saying that - its all over Weymouth, so any trip to Weymouth need to bear this in mind.
Will be going again and thoroughly recommended

Room Tip: All rooms at the front have beach view - room 4 was excellent with the four poster and en-suite

The food very good, Staff attentive. But our room was the size of a small box room one bedside cabinet/ one armchair O.K. for a single person but for a couple very poor, we should have complained but my wife said do not make a fuss, wish I had ! A good short break apart from the room.

I arrived in Weymouth by train early evening and picked the Regency at random. They had one room vacant due to a cancellation. The hotel staff were excellent, the hotel exceptionally clean, the food everything you'd expect and the rooms quiet and a comfortable bed to enjoy a good nights sleep. They told me that they are a popular hotel in Weymouth, especially as their rates are reasonable, so early booking is essential. I hope to stay there again in summer and would certainly recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the harbour are more expensive but well worth the extra few pounds.

A charming, comfortable, hotel, which captures all the magic of a traditional seaside holiday. The owners have worked hard to create a friendly welcoming atmosphere and have good knowledge of the local area. The rooms are comfortable and tastefully furnished with tea and coffee provided. The sea view rooms are particularly attractive. Breakfast was excellent, setting you up for the day. The location is right on the beach, with wonderful views of Weymouth Bay. It is possible to park in nearby back streets off the Dorchester Road. Reasonably priced and very good value.

This was a lovely guest house directly across the road from the beach. The hosts were lovely and the best cooked breakfast i've had, not too greasy. The rooms were nice and spacious with clean towels daily. We would definatley consider this one again especially after seeing the front two bedrooms which had bay windows which looked out over the sea; one room even had a four poster bed! The only downfall was you could only park outside between 6pm and 10am, other times it was restricted to 1 hour, however we found parking in side streets about 5 mins walk away.
