“Not bad”
Reviewed September 3, 2010

A very popular place to eat on the edge of the industrial estate. A good choice on the menu. This is a good example of the genre. A good selection of beers. Service is a bit unhelpful but this because the menu is badly written! The bar is totally separate and has outside seating. There is a large car park. Like many of these pubs it is essential to confirm if the same tenants are still in place - the next will undoubtedly be awful as has happened in the past at this pub.

“Wonderful Carvery”
Reviewed September 1, 2010

This is a popular place for Sunday lunch and I can see why having visited for the carvery last Sunday. The meat was perfectly cooked and a good range of vegetables were available; not to mention the wonderful deserts; well worth a visit- but book if you want the carvery on Sunday- not sure what the rest of the menu is like in the week, but if the carvery sets the standard it can’t be bad.
