“Half Day Safari with Gary”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 24, 2012

From the moment we were picked up at the Wareham Car Park, we knew we were in very capable hands. There was an elderly lady and her daughter and my wife and I. Gary is so passionate about the landscape, agriculture, environment and the people. He has an amazing amount of facts and figures in his head. We saw things we would never have seen. The view down to Corfe Castle was brilliant and we later stopped for morning tea (no frills here - just at the back of the 4WD Wagon - very down to earth - which just fitted in perfectly with the whole trip. After some home made goodies (thank you Carol) we walked up to the best vantage point at Heaven's Gate. We will never forget the panoramic views from the top of here.We spent 8 weeks travelling through Europe and England and this is definitely one of the highlights. Regards, Paul and Cathey, Australia

“Great Birthday Treat”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 15, 2012

My wife & daughter booked this for me as a treat for my 65th birthday....I'm so glad they did, I thoroughly enjoyed it. They chose the Purbeck trip, which was ideal as I am not so familiar with this area. Weather was excellent with clear visibility, enabling us to have some wonderful views...From Heaven's Gate, we could see Portland Bill & Weymouth seafront. Gary was very informative about everything we saw, so we learnt a lot as well as having a very enjoyable morning out. I can definitely recommend this trip.

“a brilliant 4 hours”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 9, 2012

Decided to take the Hardy tour as a treat for my husband. Hes the one whos always driving while i sit back and take in the sights!

it was a fantastic tour from start to finish. Gary was a wonderful host and really made everyone feel at ease.

there were 4 of us on the trip and Gary made sure that we were all included in the trip. we were taken up roads that seemed inpassable. on this trip we went through three rivers which was quite exciting if not hairy!

gary knew his stuff pointing out lots of historical sights on the way and he even spotted a buzzard and deer which was a bonus.

we stopped off half way for a drink and homemade cake which was a lovely thought.

all in all it was a wonderful 4 hours and well worth it.

“Hardy Tour 23rd Aug 2012”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 1, 2012

We can see why this remains a top attraction locally, afrer spending a superb afrternoon in the company of Gary, on a fantastic tour of the Dorset countryside. From the warm welcome at Carol and Gary's home, the brill tea & cake, getting wet in the river, to the huge amount of history learnt; there was something for everyone. Whether you like to play safe and stay inside the Landrover, like history & wildlife; or just love getting wet outside - it's all here. A remarkable way to whet the appetite, then return to your favourite bits, where you may wish to spend longer visiting. We will be back. Bless you both for your hospitality -Trev & Julia
