Since moving to Weymouth, I had always wanted to go here as it is right on the seafront and seems like a nice pleasant little beach cafe. I recently got my wish and visited here for a sandwich.
i was a little disappointed, the menu was incredibly basic and quite overpriced, which explains why I always see it empty. Even on sunny days there never seems to be many people in there.
I ordered a ham salad baguette as 2 of the fillings I wanted were unavailable. There was no choice of brown or white bread, I had to put my own sauce in using sachets from a table, and at £3.50 I thought it was quite overpriced for a smallish baguette.
The location and style of this cafe gives it such great potential and I feel the owners do need to do much more to make the most of this. I would love to see it busy with a more interesting menu as what they're doing at the moment doesn't seem to be working.
