Excellent starters - i had crab salad. skate wing for main and raspberry cheesecake for dessert. A trio of fish was also on offer along with lemon sole andouille fish. Yummy a must for fish lovers although they also have steak and beef stroganoff. Well worth a visit.

We've been to Floods quite a few times now - it's part of the reason we come to Weymouth. We're never disappointed, and this time was no different. Beautiful fish and seafood, perfectly cooked and delicious. It's not cheap, but it is very good value. Wines and puddings also great. Service impeccable.

the intimate restaurant is right on the harbour front with a view of the boats from the window. 4 adults & 1 young child went for my birthday. the restaurant doesn't really cater for children & we took our own high chair. fair enough. the staff were very pleasant & kept us informed as to how Andy Murray was doing at wimbledon aswell as serving the food! they serve mainly fish but my husband did have a steak & it was perfectly cooked as were the other fish dishes we chose. the price was what you'd expect from a restaurant where the food is freshly cooked and not pre-packaged. we had a very good experience there. we went quite early 6pm as my grandaughter is only 1/12 & had to eat early. they turned away at least 20 people while we were there as they hadn't booked & by the time we left the place was full. only 12 tables so make sure you book. well worth it!

The crab claws were overcooked and not cracked sufficiently to be able to extract the meat. Given the time it takes to tackle the aforementioned - the main dish seemed dry and seemed to have been kept warm. For a small restaurant it sould not be beyond the capability of the waiting staff to keep the chef advised how near customers are to being ready for the next course - fish only needs minutes to cook. Although we had booked, our table was not ready and we could not order drinks while we waited. The food was very average. The location is great on the side of the old harbour.
