Lovely lunch. - even with a storm brewing outside! I have the North African fish stew - vegetables could have done with a not more 'stewing ', and perhaps a bit more spice, but good mix of seafood which made a nice change for lunch . The Bread served with it was 'Pedestrian ' - think a wedge of local fresh bread would have been nicer than frozen baguette though . My friends moules were fresh and the sauce rich with cream . Will defiantly return

Been here a couple of times lately, most recently for a nice Saturday lunchtime chill-out meal. The interior has been tarted up and is very amenable. We were lucky that the weather was fine and sat on the beach tables.Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch, the food was very good and service perfectly fine. Part of the problem here is that the establishment don't own the beach but do have tables on it. This means that any Tom, Dick or Harry can come and sit on them, even if they've bought a Cornetto round the corner. This must drive them mad but I don't think there is much they can do. That said, a great place to sit and admire the view which is surely as good as anywhere on the south coast?

My second visit this year and very good it was too. I had figs stuffed with goats cheese wrapped in ham- delicious. This was followed by a lovely whole plaice served with cous couswhich was very good. The service was friendly and reasonably swift. My only criticism would be that the (pinot grigio) wine was served too warm but when asked the waitress topped up the wine holder with more ice and it was soon at an acceptable temperature.

If your sitting outside this is spoilt by an ice-cream van that blocks some of the view of the cliffs. They also start it up whenever a customer orders a Mr Softie, the smell of the deisel is not too good either. Not sure if its part of cafe oasis but during the summer i find that it has put me off going there. Apart from that its a lovely spot and the coffee is great.
