the hotel is very dated, the bedrooms small the shower had black mould on the tiles the floors creaked very loudly the bed in the next bedroom must have been against the wall so every movement was transmitted through the partition wall.
the food was not brilliant rather bland in fact the hotel overall was clean but the towels should be replaced more regular
the reception is non existing if you need to speak to anyone of the staff you had to ring a bell and wait for someone to come , the bar was the same.
entertainment was below par

The room was small but clean. But the best thing about this room was the balcony with 2 chairs where you could have a drink and watch the world go by or stare out to sea. We could hear the waves lapping on the beach all night, but we could also hear all the drunken revellers stagger back and have aguments too. Traffice was noisy in the early morning. Breakfast was good. Tracey who welcomed us to the hotel, showed us around also served breakfast. She was very good and helpful. But I wouldn't stay on the seafront in Weymouth again as it was too noisy, had to have window open as it was so hot. The hotel was clean but a little tired looking.

Room Tip: Perhaps it would be better in the colder months when you don't need the window open.

My Family and I stayed at this Hotel for three nights .
We were very pleased with everything . I know the Hotel is a bit dated and needs a bit of attention .
But the room was very clean ,the beds were very comfortable.
The Staff were very friendly.
I know there was no one on the front desk ,but we were booked in by a very nice young man called Ashley. No problem having to ring the bell for attention .
My Grandsons already want to go again next year , would I take them if it was dirty ,no I wouldn't. .I was quite surprised at the cost , considering it was on the Sea Front . I would recommend it to my friends no problem at all.

Room Tip: I f you want a nice family room go for 206

Hotel interior very dated and smells of cabbage and old people but rooms very clean and bed comfy, balcony a nice feature, smallest tv ive ever seen in room and only one pillow each with no spares, very noisey with doors slamming etc, dont really think its value at £99 per night, i would stay again if prince regent wasnt available as thats the same cost for a more nicer hotel, tea and coffee facilities in room but no complimentary showers gels.

just returned from a 5 day trip, staying at this hotel.. the only decent thing about it were the waiter and barman. the food was dreadful, the welcome meal we had was vile. the decor was dated. it was dirty under the bed. the TV made a funny sound when you turned up the volume. it was very noisy. such a shame because the location is good.

I have recently returned from a trip to the Mon Ami Hotel Weymouth with Alfa Travel.
The furniture in the rooms is a little dated, but it is clean enough with comfy bed.
This is a good value hotel with good amenities and lovely views over the Bay, no air-con, so if you want 5 stars then book the next space shuttle.

The staff were excellent and efficient; nothing seemed to much trouble for them.
The meals in the dinning room were very good with a veriety of options through-out the week.

Some of our fellow guests did say their rooms were a bit noisy at the front of the Hotel due to the traffic, but this did not bother me. ( bring your ear plugs)

Entertainment was provided on most evenings. Some o/k, some in the wrong business.

Overall, a very good value holiday and I would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Rooms at the rear are quieter

We stayed for a night over the may bank holiday. The family room was spacious and comfy. We had a good nights sleep and a lovely breakfast. Personally I think the room price was a little expensive but guess that is due to location and free car park. I would stay again.
