I am staying at this guest house right now for my easter holiday and I really enjoy it! The breakfast is lovely and the room is very nice and clean (and with a telly!!) Ian and Nina are very friendly and helpful. The location is also good! (less than 10min walk from the station) I will definitely stay here again the next time :)

What a great place, the food was excellent. A very good breakfast. We booked for 2 nights but stayed for 3. Wished we would have stayed longer, we will definately go back again in the near future. Ian and Nina cannot do enough for you, a lovely place to stay.

What a great place, we stumbled across The Beach Guest House when looking for a couple of nights to stay, but most places in weymouth were seeking elevated prices due to the Olympics. To be honest this guest house was worth every penny, it was quiet and welcoming, the breakfasts were freshly cooked to order and superb. Nothing was to much bother for our hosts Ian and Nina, all we had to do was ask, whether it was about local buses, eating out or topping up the complimentary tray in the room. It was a shame they couldnt do much about the weather, but in the 2 days we had there, the afternoons were gorgeous.

Thanks again Ian and Nina, we hope to see you again next year when we are on our travels.

Paul & Melanie.

we always go to the beach guest house when we are in weymouth,Ian and Nina are a lovely friendly couple, the food is excellant a very good nourishing breakfast.we have been going there now for at least 6 years although it is only usually once a year now but we would not go anywhere else.the beach is only 5 mins from the guest house and there is so much to do in weymouth,my children and grandchildren love it there.Once you have stayed in the beach guest house you will not want to stay anywhere else in weymouth. It is a spotlessly clean guest house and Ian and Nina will go out of there way to make sure yoyr stay with them is as comfortable as possible.

Room Tip: we have stayed in all the rooms at the guest house in the past but my favourite room is 1 and 3

We have stayed in this street several times over the years it is nice and quiet but close enough to everything at the same time. Our usual b&b had no vacancies for our 3 night easter break but The Beach was suggested on the web with vacancies so we decided ti give it a try. We were very pleasantly suprised and will definately recomend to friends and family as a first choice. The vendors Ian a & Nina were really friendly & couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome. The whole house was spotless and had everything you required for the most relaxing and comfortable stay. The breakfast was just the best and plenty of everything, it set us up for the whole day and my husband and i have very healthy appetites. We couldn't fault it at all and were so pleased that we hadn't managed to get in at our usual place! We will definately book and visit again and happily tell others of our lucky find.

Room Tip: We had an en suite room which we prefer it was at the back of the building and was very quiet

Arrived at The Beach Guest house and got a friendly welcome from Ian, was taken to the office and had the rules explained. We were told that the door would be locked at 10.30pm but we had our own key to get in and out 24/7, the breakfast had to be ordered by 9pm the night before but they do cater for special diets.

Our room was comfy but compact as it was a room that had been split into 2 seperate smaller rooms. Our room had a basin in one corner and one bedside table, the otherside couldn't fit a bedside table as that was where the wardrobe was, a cupboard with 2 drawers was across from the wardrobe and there was a chair between the 2 that you had to move depending on which unit you wanted to open.
There was a small portable tv on a wall mount which stuck out from the wall just over a foot and was near the basin, and my partner banged his head several times as there` was limited space between the bed and tv for walking. My partner is 6ft tall.
They had WiFi which when it was on was great, but! it went off at midnight and didn't come back on till approx 6am, My partner and I use the internet alot in our daily lives and one of the reasons we booked here was because of the WiFi and as were had a few late nights as we were on holiday it was infuriating not to be able to get online.

Our room was not ensuite but down the landing was a bathroom and seperate toilet which we were told were for our use, they were not locked however and everyone else in the b&b also had access and several times, we found someone had used the toilet but not flushed.

My partner didn't like the fact that breakfast had to be ordered the night before as " How do I know what I want to eat till I get up in the morning"

It's a 10 minute walk from the train station and a 5 minute walk to the beach, there's 2 small shops nearby for papers and sundries and a fish and chip shop on the same road 5 minutes away

Overall Ian and Nina were friendly and welcoming, Ian carried our suitcase up the stairs and showed us to our room.
