We were by Brewers Quay at 4.30 pm on a March Wednesday. All tea shops firmly shut, and although pubs were open, it was indeed time for tea. To find this lovely cosy place open was a treat indeed as was the service and tea. Tea served in tall china pots and hot water freely offered ( although not needed as the pots were so large). Warm fruit scone and warm Dorset apple cake were tasty.
Lunch options looked appealing with plenty of choices including items such as tarteflette which make us ponder the option of a lunch time return.
Very reasonably priced.

Been in the area 12 yrs - walked passed it loads of times. Just found out how good this place is. As well Tea and Cake (very good cake btw) Pascal offers the perfect short menu of French home cooking Tartiflette, Cassoulet, Boulliabaiise as well croque monsieur type snacks with wine and beer. Also does good breakfasts and a "Dinner" 7pm every 3rd Friday & Saturday of the month (again short french menu) All in very friendly unpretentious surroundings. I've said for a long time this is the sort of place the town needs and its been here all along..! Can also do private dining and homemade cakes to order. Great place.

Myself and ten friend enjoyed fantastic food and great service for a celebratory meal we had at time for tea. We went to the supper club that the owner pascal runs every third weekend of the month. The upstairs was reserved for us which felt as though we were having dinner in a private dining room, beautifully laid white linen tables, candle light and discreet efficient service made it feel as though we could have been in one of our homes...minus the washing up! It was an intimate experience, with exquisite food and all topped off with a birthday cheesecake with candles and much song! Also priced very reasonably, we all felt we had had great value for money and a fabulous night all round. Thank you Pascal and staff for an amazing meal x

Last night a group of friends and I celebrated a birthday party at Time For Tea, it's the first time I've been there in the evening (it's my regular haunt for tea & cake). The food was great, omg the pudding, service was attentive and the evening atmosphere was really intimate. Pascal only opens a few evenings a month and only has limited space so if you hear about the next one make sure you book up.

Love this place.

On the third weekend of every month, they open Time for Tea for an evening supper club.

Ten of us went for a birthday party meal on one of these nights.

The food was absolutely fantastic, and the service friendly and efficient.

Pascal, the chef, creates amazing dishes with wonderful flavours. Would wholeheartedly recommend going there for a night out!
