“Fantastic french brasserie with lovely atmosphere”
Reviewed May 5, 2011

We called in here at lunchtime whilst on holiday and loved the place!

With a lovely warm welcome and enchanting french music in the background we chose the special of the day - slow cooked lamb with white beans and a mountain of fresh crusty white bread to mop up the juices.

Portions of tarte tatin (french style apple tart) and scrumptious dorset apple cake and ice cream finished off perhaps the best meal we had all holiday.

Service was friendly and attentive and toilets (upstairs at the back) were clean and fresh.

Absolutely recommended

“Best Cream Tea in Weymouth”
Reviewed October 29, 2010

We always visit Time for Tea when we go to Weymouth. It has a French owner and a real French feel to it. The Cream Teas are delicious as are all the other cakes on offer. It's hard to choose. And there is a wide selection of drinks. Something for everyone. Definitely recommend it.

“The sort of place that make a holiday”
Reviewed October 3, 2010

We visited Time for Tea during a trip round the south of england, it was fantastic! It was wet and cold out so we headed in looking for a hot drink but found so much more! I had the hot choc (out of this world it was) and my other hlaf had pot of tea. For lunch we both had croque massiure. Service was top class and the food even better! Cant reccomend this place enough!

“Excellent, fresh food, charming staff, great value..”
Reviewed September 14, 2010

I have visited this fantastic cafe regularly since moving to Weymouth three years ago and have never been disappointed.
The lunch time menu features French classics such as 'Soup de Poissons', 'Salad Nicoise', ‘Petit Sale Aux Lentilles and 'Croque Monsieur'. Thre's also a delicious range of traditonal sandwiches, salads and local Portland crab. Cream teas are served with home baked scones and huge pots of tea.
The elegant vintage decor, sharply dressed and courteous staff and of course the consistently excellent food make for a unique cullinary experince.
