Beach is remarkably clean for a huge beach. Sea is clean and clear. Plenty of food and drinks. Had an amazing time x

Can not fault anything but in the good weather get there early for a space, I had to have a fight with a few seagulls when they were trying to pinch my chips lol, there are also lots of places to eat and drink along the sea front and over the other side of the road.
If you fancy real chip shop chips I strongly advise you to look for the chippy that is situated alongside the toy masters shop (opposite the t shirt shop) a bit further down you can also sit in for a meal if you wish

Weymouth has everything you could wish for a lovely holiday although i have noticed some cut backs ie no tourist information centre and one particular b/b that should have the health and safety executive crawling all over it,namely Maidens rest,i called it Faulty Towers in my review,I have read some reviews on this place and i have come to the conclusion that some people must live in terrible conditions at their place of abode, perhaps some of the unfortunate people that stayed were there as some sort of bizarre punishment or were there on day release from prison, that aside.
Weymouth has an awful lot going for it,good scenery, beaches, good pubs, very good food if you are choosy on what pubs/restaurants you visit as some outlets do leave a bad taste in the mouth, the harbour is well worth a visit for sights, food and boat rides around Portland.Anyway i could go on and on and on.I visit most years and i used to live not far away in a place called Burton bradstock, Weymouth gets a 5 out of 5 from Gary.

Clean, shallow water. Plenty to do, enough room on beach for everyone and facilities nearby. Safe sandy/shingle beach.
