Weymouth is great, and really clean and tidy now.
Great restaurants and pub food is also great, some really good deals to be had this time of year.

A wonderful sweeping seafront, with elegant Georgian villas, and Victorian clocktower. Very interesting fishing harbour as well. New Laser and other lights give added interest at night.

The beach is well looked after even during the winter time. Very fine white sand. The esplanade is well looked after and is kept clean by a road sweeper every day even in November

This beach is clean and well looked after; tourists to this area would enjoy the lovely, long walks along it.

The beach at Weymouth ranges from wide fine yellow sand at the town end of the Esplanade to pebbles at the Overcombe end, with a transition taking place along the way. The beach shelves gently and tide rise and fall is slow making for safe bathing, a must for children. The sandy area is perfect for digging holes and building sand castles. If you chose the train to Weymouth, the beach is only a few minutes walk from the station, and a similar distance from the town centre. It can be crowded in summer, and in winter it is frequently deserted and a great place to take the dog. The Esplanade is wide and flat, ideal for walking, skating and children learning to cycle. This is a family friendly location, come and enjoy it.
