Read the reviews on trip advisor and decided to try the Seaspray, was greeted by Diane with a pot of tea and cake. The room was lovely with a sea view and en-suite. Breakfast was excellent, with a choice of fresh fruit salad, pastries, cereals and a full English breakfast, plenty filling to last the whole day. Both Diane and Paul were very pleasant and helpfull they also had the time to talk to us, making us feel at home with friends rather than just guests. Thank you both for a wonderfull stay and as we said when we left we will be back soon.

I arranged for my friends that live up north to come and stay in weymouth where i live. we decided to all stay at seaspray. we were all extremely impressed with the service we recieved. we greeted by both dianne and paul who showed us to our rooms and offered us drinks and snacks. they were both really helpful in suggesting where we should park; and moved their own car so that we could have their space.
between us we had two rooms; room seven and room one both ensuite with fantastic views. both rooms were very clean; and spacious. breakfast was very nice; and included a wide variety and choice.

We stayed at the Seaspray for three nights early May and as the other reviewers said the hosts Paul and Diane were very welcoming and we were greeted with tea and muffins. We had a sea view room with a nice bay window and small en-suite shower room, the room was clean but basic but the bed was one, of if not the worst I have ever slept in! The cooked breakfast was excellent. We did manage to park outside but it was a bit hit and miss and we were early in the season, having looked around Weymouth i must agree the location of Seaspray is excellent but the rooms are in need of further renovation (which I believe they are in the process of doing) and there is no guest lounge to relax in at night!

I spent two nights in the Seaspray. First, I was a bit disappointed as the "room with a bathroom" meant a room and a bathroom on two different floors, an incredibly tiny room and paper-thin walls - so I could hear both the chatting and the snoring from next door, even with airplugs in. But overall, I still have a nice memory of the hotel thanks to its very friendly owners, the great location, the seaview and the best breakfast I had in the UK : there are other places serving cooked full English breakfast, but I never had anywhere else such a lovely fresh fruit salad and muffins.

We arrived at 11.30am to be greeted cheerily by Diane and Paul. Diane lugged the suitcase up to our room for us, despite my protests that it would be too heavy! The room was already ready for us.

There is free parking right outside the B&B but these are premium spots and were all taken so Paul showed us a side road where it's free all day parking. It was an 8 minute walk from the B&B and not really a problem.

The B&B is not on a main road, the road outside is a small cul-de-sac for parking only and it's away from all the noise yet still right next to the beach. There is a cafe right next door to the B&B which looked nice although we did not go in.

We had a sea-view room on the 2nd floor. It was very clean and comfortable but not the biggest room we ever stayed in! The two rooms next to ours were being refurbished so weer vacant. Therefor it was quiet and we could hear the waves of the sea at night.

The breakfast in the morning was superb, lovely selection of pastries, fruit, muffins, cereals and yoghurts and then a gorgeous full englsih breakfast with all the trimmings. Nice dining room looking right out onto the sea front.

They are a lovely, friendly couple and it's all you could want from a sea-side B&B, we would return.

Even though we stayed at The Seaspray for less than 24 hours (we were catching an early morning ferry), nothing was too much trouble. We were met at about 9.30pm by Paul, who took several suitcases up several flights of stairs with good cheer, even though one of them had given us a hernia earlier in the day, whilst getting it into the car. He also took items that needed to be kept cold/frozen and dealt with them, before offering us a freshly made pot of tea and a slice of walnut cake to be brought to our room - heaven after our long journey. Son Carl delivered it to our room which was on the top floor at the front, with a stunning view over the sea as the guest house is right on the beach. Carl looked after us with great attention for all of our short stay and his mother Diane was also on hand, and she cooked us a wonderful breakfast.

Our bedroom was large (two rooms knocked into one), with a desk, spare single bed, lots of storage space and a huge bathroom; ideal for a longer stay. The reason I have only given four stars for the rooms is that my daughter's room on the floor below, was a rather cramped double. Having said that, we paid no single occupancy charge and as we were only there for such a short time, it did not make any difference to us. Our room, which faced the sea, was very quiet. Our daughter's room which faced a street running parallel to the sea, experienced traffic noise during the day.

As a first impression, I was disappointed to note that the corridors and stair areas were rather worn (though clean), and so was very reassured to learn over breakfast that Paul and Diane had only recently bought the business. One of their next jobs is to redecorate these spaces, having already largely finished refurbishing the bedrooms. In fact as we left, Carl was to be seen struggling up the road under a large quantity of new furniture, destined for one of the bedrooms.....

Highly recommended - great location and nice owners.

Super breakfast, all you could wish for, good full-English, but also caters for aliens who like the cold-meat-and-cheese breakfast. I loved the little danish pastries.
Our room was top floor (our request), large with a gorgeous sea view. We could hear the waves as we lay in bed. Our bathroom was spacious, with some special touches. Water took a long time to get hot as we were on top floor.
Owners ever so friendly, if you arrive afternoon you get a welcoming tea with lovely big cake , thank you Diane.
If we go to Weymouth again, we'd want the same room.
