This place has a good service, especially as when we checked out the woman on duty let us keep our car there while we could go into Weymouth. It was not loud and there was a good breakfast, cooked or cereal. great location, just over the road is the beach. would happily go again, very good.

4 of us stayed here Easter Saturday and had a great stay. Very warm and friendly staff. Clean and modern rooms with a card and Lindt bunny each which was a very nice touch and plenty of tea/coffee facilities. We had a separate bathroom just for our room which was just outside ours and very clean and roomy. Nice walk into town and a great Italian restaurant down the street with a couple of pubs nearby too. Breakfast was lovely with a great choice of cereal and yoghurt before a full English. Room for about 6 cars in the car park but we had no trouble parking and they ask for cars to be moved so others can get in/out. Not often in the area but if in Weymouth again will definitely look for availability here, great price too.

I stayed here with my wife on Easter Saturday. We were greeted by Gaynor and shown to our room where an Easter card & 2 chocolate bunnies had been left for us. Our room was spotlessly clean and more than adequate for what we needed. English breakfast was fab - I would highly recommend a stay and we will most certainly be returning.

Room Tip: Parking is tight at the back but adequate and the staff are more than happy to ask guests to move th...

Gaynor and Stacey made us very welcome and it's the first impressions that count! The guesthouse is extremely clean, another big plus point for us, and we were allowed into our room at 10.00 am which was fantastic. The full English breakfast is recommended and the dining/breakfast room tastefully furnished. We stayed in a triple room at the back of the house which was small but adequate and, again, very clean! The proximity to the town centre is also perfect. Thank you, we had a very pleasant stay.

I stayed here with my partner and was pleasantly surprised at the value for money of a guest house which has the aspirations and feel of a hotel. Gaynor and Dave welcomed us and made us feel at home straight away, almost like visiting friends or relatives. Nothing was too much trouble. We had room 1 which was at the front of the hotel on the first floor. The bay window with the table and chairs meant we could look down the esplanade and feel in the centre of town without actually being there. It is just the right distance away and within striking distance of the town, so well placed. Room, bed and shower room was very homely and clean. Bottles of water with tea-making facilities was a nice touch. Also a nice touch is the locally sourced breakfast which was warm, tasty and enough to set us up for the day.
Gaynor and Dave say they have just taken over the hotel and have never been in the business before but you would find this hard to believe as they seem like naturals. I guess it is their view that you should get a homely experience that makes the difference.
I've stayed in lots of hotels and B&Bs around the UK and would be more than happy to recommend this place to anyone.
Keep up the good work, I have no doubt you will be a success and I will definitely be back.

When you read other reviews and they all give the Arcadia "5 stars" you can believe every word!
Nothing is too much trouble, wonderful staff, excellent food, Ideal position, 5 min' walk to the town or buses that run every 10 min's across the road, front room with a great view of the bay. And Gaynor didn't shout at me after I took the room key home....oop's....

Room Tip: Rooms on the front for a sea view...
