we got this stay at an unexpected reduced rate, the park was quiet and not noisy as i had expected. the caravan was nice and airy and quite new, with clean furniture, bedlinen was supplied, but the one sheet supplied was so thin and really not suitable for the bed. as this is a first for me i have to say that the double bed and bedroom were very small, and the twin room would only be realistic to put kids up to 12 or 13 in as one person could barely turnaround in it. it was fantastic to have heating and the weather turned a little cold, as we were able to have it on the whole night it made a great difference. it would have been far too cold without it. the reception staff were so helpfull and obliging especially faye. tis site is in an amazing position, 5min to the beach and a bus thats stops all through the park and drops off in weymouth town. a great plus point.fantastic facilities for the children,
we had a fantastic 3 hour double spa treatments, which i felt the were the best ever .
this was a well run site and if we did stay in another caravan we would use this site.

Room Tip: chose a caravan with heating if you are going out of season, and take a small fan with you in summer...

Well what can I say spent a long weekend here for my birthday I went with my daughter aged 17 my mother 75 and aunty 72 and we had a great time

Firstly we stayed in a private caravan that was 5* if not more it was beautiful and had everything we needed including gas central heating and double glazing perfect!

The park itself is stunning beautifully kept and spotless. We went to the spa for a spa 2hour experience which was sublime tho book before as we did as it is a lot cheaper but it was well worth it def would do it again!!

The pool again was lovely with the steam room and sauna and slides and many choices of pools esp if you have small children and so warm didnt want to get out!!

Entertainment again was really good the usual bingo, race night and singers and a group we enjoyed it all plus Aaron the entertainment rep in the adult clubhouse was brilliant we had a really good few nights with him even if they did get me up on the stage to give me a birthday cake!!

Location wise ideal for us as there was a bus that went to and from weymouth all day and up to 7pm at night.

Cant comment on the food as we ate out or in the caravan.

would we stay here again??? YES YES YES

Haven't stayed in a caravan for years so was very pleasantly surprised by Waterside. We paid less than it would have cost to rent privately due to 25% discount as it was September. First impressions were great thanks to the friendly reception staff. The caravan was lovely and clean, we stayed in yellow area less than a minutes walk to main areas. Indoor play area was nice for younger kids, our son (aged 4) didn't like the kids entertainment though. He loved the funfair just outside the park, beach wasn't great but we had so many great days out it didn't matter. Abbotsbury swannery is great, Weymouth Sea Life centre, Sandbanks, Chesil Beach, Poole and Brownsea Island fantastic, Abbotsbury tropical gardens, Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove, Wareham and Monkey World, Nothe Fort and many more, lovely area - we would love to come back as didn't do all we wanted to do.Swimming pool was clean and never over crowded, didn;t get a chance to visit the Waterside venue but everyone said it was good. Visited the Spyglass Inn about 3 times, just the best carvery we have ever had, you must try it. Lovely big clean pub with outdoor play area for kids and views stretching to Weymouth and beyond. Just walk out of the park turn right, straight up the hill and past the cafe on the top of the hill its at the bottom of the hill. About 10 minutes walk. Wish we had a pub like this near us! Avoid the other pub inbetween the 2 Haven sites The Spice Ship - it was truly awful. Bus comes directly into the park if you want to go into Weymouth, we walked it and it is a nice walk but without a 4 year old would be better! All in all, we had a great week and would go back again in a hearbeat, first time in ages we have all been relaxed and suited everybody.

Stayed with the family in September, although a little quiet, nice venue, although the area around the Waterside Venue and slip could do with the same attention spent on it as the rest of the par, some serious tidying up and landscaping required around the slip!

Caravans feel fairly close together, would be nice to have a bit room around them for kids to play or a nearby piece of grass they could play on.

We had the benefit of a brand new va with central heating, although on reflection could maybe have saved some money by booking via a private owner which on reflection I never thought to do at the time of the booking, but when i looked on the net weren't that difficult to find. Would have saved around £200

Park itself was good, although found anything food and drink realted a bit overpriced!

Childrens entertainment team was brilliant this year, their job made harder by the lack of kids!

Pool quiet, but good.

We have just returned from a week at Waterside and have to say what a great week we had. The caravan was clean and very modern. The entertainment for the children was great. My daughter is 3 and enjoyed every minute of it. Johnboy and his team did a grand job of keeping the little ones entertained. We ate in the waterside restaurant several times and it was superb, the food was delicious, the service was great.
We will definitely return to Waterside it ticked all the boxes for us!.
