“One of the best restaurants in Weymouth”
Reviewed February 9, 2013 via mobile

Once again , this family run restaurant fulfils all expectations ! A warm greeting and nice pre dinner drinks , food outstanding as ever, the chef is a genius . I was surprised that a group of people came in for a drink , as it is quite clearly a restaurant (?) but as ever the courteous manager gave them a table (on a sat night too) for their comfort ! Nice ambiance and having a table in the window topped it all off ! We shall return !

“Back to the best of Lanes - an alternative to Mallam's or Vaughan's”
Reviewed February 3, 2013

This restaurant has had a number of iterations under different owners in the last 10 years going from Isobar, Baroque, then it reached a low point as Rusty Lanes, then back upmarket as just Lanes. We dined there for Sunday lunch and were very impressed. Starters are generous and very reasonably priced at £3.95 – fresh local crab piled on sour dough and homemade smoked mackerel pate. We followed with the not overly large but very nice fish pie at £11.95 and broccoli and gorgonzola pie £10.95. All washed down with 4 large glasses of Pinot Grigio at £22. Why spend around £40 on two courses in a pub when for a little more (say £10) you can have local fresh cooked food. Brilliant and long may the current owners prosper. Get a window seat and watch the World sail by!

“Lovely restaurant on the harbour”
Reviewed January 12, 2013 via mobile

Went here for dinner with my partner (didn't book) and was a lovely evening, service excellent and friendly, food simple but delicious (nice and unpretentious!) and for the quality was good value. Nice decor too. Try the brownie for dessert, gorgeous!

“What a treat”
Reviewed January 3, 2013

After a chilly coastal walk, it was a treat to find The Harbour Bridge Restaurant.
Lucky enough to be able to sit at the window table, with its pretty view.
Food was simple and delicious, I had the game terrine, which was robust and tasty, served with artisan bread.
Would recommend any of the locally caught fish dishes, will be going back for the fish pie which looked amazing. Hoo-rah for food envy.
Good wine list, nothing too expensive.
All in all a very enjoyable lunch.
